STEMng Digest: Week 20

in StemSocial4 years ago (edited)

Welcome to a new edition of the STEMng Digest. Today's edition makes the 20th edition of the publication since the migration from the old blockchain to the new hive chain. For those that might be wondering what STEMng is all about, below is a piece of information for you:

STEMng Digest is a weeklypublication where we showcase the works of Nigerian content creators in the field of STEMs on the hive blockchain. We curate various articles, videos, etc. published by Nigerians and supported by the stemsocial community account. We are a sub-community of the stemsocial community, a community that has been supporting stem authors on the hive blockchain fro about four years now. Before going into the list of curated content for this last week, let us look at some statistics for the said period.

Yes, the strikethrough on 'weekly' is not a mistake. We have decided to be publishing this report in as much as there is a decent number of articles from authors to be showcased. Enthusiasm seems to be generally low from the part of the authors recently. Hopefully, this would change with time.

Statistics for this week edition

Six STEM-related articles from five authors were supported by stemsocial this term, a period that exceeds one week. This is a drop from the previous term of just one week where we had seven articles from five authors being supported. Of course, like it has been pointed out, enthusiasm seems to be low generally perhaps due to a drop in the price of the hive token. Good times are ahead.

Below is a list and a link to all the articles published by Nigerian authors that met the curation guidelines of the stemsocial community. Supports for the authors are encouraged in whatever form they might be offered. These include reblogging, upvoting, sharing on other social media, or even tipping.

Top pick for the week

Our top pick for this week is Dealing with Stress, Anxiety, and Anxiety Disorder III written by @steepup. It was really interesting getting to know that the male and the female gender respond to anxieties differently. What more could be learned from the article? Head over and give it a read.

Anyone can feature as our top author for the week. To stand a chance of being supported by stemsocial and featured as a top author in our weekly digest, all you need to do is to observe the following advice:

Write original content
Make it interesting
Adopt beautiful layout/formatting
Personalize your writing
Use copyright-free images

Well done @gentleshaid, the price drop has lowered the morale of our authors, but am sure that better days are coming. Stemng has really been doing great in helping us to know how Nigerian authors respond to price drop. Anyway, things will take shape. But what oo, am not the author of *Dealing with Stress , Anxiety and Anxiety Disorder, there is a mix up with the name. The link goes to @steep2308. Check again. Thanks
