During our evening at Karon Beach for Loy Krathong (see my last post) among the shows there was an exhibition that Thai people (and me too) are particularly enthusiast of.
Thai people are great lovers of cars and music, mainly their own which is very rich both in quantity and style, so when they associate the 2, it gives a unique and quite surprising result 😁
Durant notre soirée à Karon Beach pour Loy Krathong (cf. mon dernier post) parmis les spectacles ce trouvait une exhibition que les Thaï affectionnent particulièrement.
Les Thaï sont des grands amoureux de bagnoles et de musiques, principalement la leur qui est très riche tant au niveau quantité que genre, alors quand il associent les 2 cela donne un résultat bien surprenant 😁
The show took place on the grass of the park between the sea and the lake of Karon Beach (10 minutes from Patong Beach and 5 minutes from Kata Beach).
It brought back memories of the cars seen at the last Phuket Carnival in 2019 (before the Covid came through) which are in this post I made at that time.
Le show c'est déroulé sur le gazon du parc entre la mer et le lac de Karon Beach (à 10 minutes de Patong Beach et 5 minutes de Kata Beach).
Il m'a fait revenir en mémoire les Jacky tuning (à prendre de façon affectueuse) vues lors du dernier Carnaval de Phuket en 2019 (avant que le Covid ne passe par là) qui sont dans ce post que j'avais fait à l'époque.
Thailand, which sells 2 million vehicles per year (50% of which are exported), hosts factories mainly of all Japanese brands (Honda, Toyota, Mazda, Isuzu, Mitsubishi) so it's not surprising that the base of this tuning is made with Japanese cars.
La Thaïlande qui vends 2 millions de véhicules par an (dont 50% à l'export) accueille des usines principalement de toutes les marques Japonaises (Honda, Toyota, Mazda, Isuzu, Mitsubishi) il n'est donc pas étonnant que la base de ce tuning soit fait à partir de voitures japonaises.
The good bases for a successful tuning made in Thailand are, the light (it must be flashy), the biggest Sound System possible to play Thai EDM with good bass. As a bonus, LCD screens, ideally everywhere.
Les bonnes bases pour un tuning made in Thaï sont, de la lumière (faut que ce soit flashy), une sono avec du gros son pour passer de l'EDM Thaï avec de bonnes basses. En bonus, des écrans LCD, partout de préférence.
Of course, the interior design also deserves special attention, as it has to match the exterior of the car as closely as possible.
And to have done some car shows and other events in my life, I can say that Thai people are particularly skilled in this field. It's not for nothing that there are a lot of tiny car repair shops here, which are not only cheap but also particularly good.
L'habillage intérieur à bien évidemment aussi droit à une attention toute particulière, devant s'accorder au mieux avec l'extérieur de la voiture.
Et pour avoir fait quelques salons et autres rassemblement automobiles dans ma vie je peux dire que les thailandais y sont particulièrement doué, ce n'est pas pour rien qu'ici il y a énormément de petites échoppes de réparation auto qui en plus d'être pas cher sont particulièrement efficaces.
Even if most of the cars are pick-ups, which is quite obvious when the goal is to have the biggest sound possible and therefore to put a maximum of speaker, woofer and subwoofer, it's not uncommon to find a small city car that has just as much charm between 2 large pick-ups.
Bien qu'il y ai en très grande majorité des pickup, ce qui est plutôt logique lorsque le but est d'en mettre un maximum niveau son et donc d'avoir un maximum de woofer et subwoofer, il n'est pas non plus rare de tomber entre 2 sur une petite citadine ayant tout autant de charme.
🎶 Then came the time 🎶 to blow up the Watts 🎶 Cause it's good to show sound 🎶 but it's even better to hear it 🎶
🎶We had a good EDM sound 🎶 and a remix by a Thai DJ 🎶 of the heady music of the moment 🎶 which is the music of Squid Game 🎶
🎶 Puis vint l'heure 🎶 de faire péter 🎶 les Watts 🎶 Car c'est bien beau de montrer du matos 🎶 mais c'est encore mieux de l'entendre 🎶
🎶 Nous avons donc eu droit à du bon son EDM 🎶 ainsi qu'un remix 🎶 par un DJ Thaï 🎶 de la musique entêtante du moment 🎶 à savoir la musique de Squid Game 🎶
