Hello community of hive pets, for me it is a pleasure to publish here again, this time I will teach you a little about my other hobby, which is the breeding of guinea pigs, I will be showing you some of my copies.
I have been breeding guinea pigs for more than 6 years, but in the breeding of long-haired guinea pigs, about 2 years. For the breeding of these beautiful animals, cages of 2 meters long 50cm wide and 50cm high are used, this so that they have enough space and are comfortable, for each cage there is a reproductive male and three reproductive females.
After the female and the male mate, the female lasts between 60 and 75 days in the gestation state, then gives birth to 1 to 4 young, these young are weaned one month after they are born. There are many long-haired breeds but I breed 4 breeds: Sheltei, Peruvian, Alpaca and Angora.

wow! their long hair looks great! i've had guinea pigs for almost 11 years now but only ever tried to care for 1 long hair before, now i mostly care for short-haired and teddy breeds 😃 thank you for sharing about these adorable furbabies!

When I heard the term "guinea pigs" before, I always assumed they were types of Pigs. We use the term "فئران التجارب (experiment mice)" in the idiom, but now I know why we call them that: Guinea Pigs look like Mice.~
