Have you ever wished for a quick nature escape after a tiring work day? Or just missing the outdoors but can't get out due to pandemic? build a low cost and low tech aquascape. A small tank setup will only cost you **$40 - $50. **

Ever since I'm exposed to nature, I really admire how things were created naturally, so why not create a small version of nature inside your home? If most of the time you stay at your comfort zone I highly recommend to try making planted tank aquascapes and dish garden decorations. it improves focus and artistic touch to things. I also just learned how to make other types of tank scapes like paludarium and terrarium then I added some exotic pets to my hobby.

Here are some list of materials that I used.

**1. Aquarium tank size: 60mm x 30mm x 35mm - $15

  1. Hanging led lights for aquarium (blue & white lights) - $6
  2. HOB hanging filter for small size tank - $6
  3. pebbles, white sand, lava rocks - recycled from my old tank
  4. Aqua soil 2kg - $8
  5. Filter mesh - $2
  6. Dragon stone (bought from gardening shop) - $5
  7. Amano shrimp (algae eaters) bought from pet shop - $1 each x 4
  8. live plants - $4 (depends on specie. I chose low tech plants that doesnt need much CO2)**

You are the master of your craft you can try different things that will fit your tank setup as long as it wont harm the livestocks in it.
you may also want to try any less acidic materials from your garden.

P.S I havent introduced fish yet coz I have to cycle the tank for 2-3 weeks.
