Hello everyone, readers of the community! My wife and I noticed a long time ago that our cat Archie is afraid of loud sounds. It is clear, we have a war in Ukraine, aircraft are flying, enemy planes are flying, explosions and sirens are heard. The cat is afraid of all this. Every living thing is afraid, only fools are not afraid.
Today, literally half an hour ago, two Shaheds flew over the city, they were very audible, but not visible because it was already night. At least I heard, because I am at work, my wife is also at work, so the cat is probably scared at home. We work near our home, so Archie could hear loud noises 100%.
Poor people, animals, it's all so tired, this war. Fear, the syndrome of life postponed, because you don't know what awaits you tomorrow. And in the afternoon, when my wife and I are at home, Archie feels like a master. He is glad that he is not alone at home, and allows himself to be unchained. He sleeps in his favorite position, with his stomach facing the mountain and spreading his paws to the sides. The animal feels protected because we are nearby.

Всім привіт, читачі спільноти! Давно помітили з дружиною, що наш котик Арчі боїться голосних звуків. Воно і зрозуміло, у нас в Україні війна, літає авіація, ворожі шпхежи, чутно вибухи, сирена. Кіт всього цього боїться. Кожна істота жива бояться, не бояться лише дурні.
От сьогодні буквально пів години назад над містом прлітали два шахеди, їх дуже чутно було, але не видно бо вже ніч. Принаймі я почув, бо я на роботі, дружина теж на роботі, тож коту самому напевно вдома страшно. Ми працюємо неподалік від нашого дому, тому Арчі стовідсотково чув голосні звуки.
Бідні люди, тварини, це все так вже набридло, ця війна. Страх, синдром відкладеного життя, бо ти не знаєш що чекає на тебе завтра. А вдень, коли ми з дружиною вдома, Арчі почуває себе як пан. Він радий, що не сам вдома, та дозволяє собі бути розкутим. Спить у улюбленій позі, животом до гори і розкидаючи лапи в сторони. Тваринка відчуває захист, бо ми поряд.

What a complicated situation, wars are a horrible thing, just look at how it is affecting your cat.
I was recently talking to a friend about fireworks and how they affect cats and dogs too, they scare them. It doesn't compare to your situation but it does serve as a parallelisml to realize how loud noises negatively affect animals.
