Si un morrocoy se voltea y dura mucho tiempo así, primero orinan y defecan de la desesperación, luego comienzan a quedarse sin oxígeno, patalean rápidamente, finalmente convulsionan y fallecen... Esto puede suceder en cuestión de minutos. Aunque es poco común que se volteen cuando ya son adultos, de igual modo sucede. En su momento de relajación también, si están en espacios muy altos e inestables se puedes tropezar y voltear, por eso yo tengo es una superficie plana, con solo algunas plantas que dejan crecer (porque otras se las comen hehehe)

Coye, realmente no estoy mu segura de cuantos hay, la ultima vez que los conté teníamos 26 entre los adultos y bebés! Son bastantes, lo bueno es que tenemos espacio para ellos.
Yo solía tener muchos Morrocoy como se suele llamar en Venezuela por mudanza y falta de espacio no pude tenerlos pero le asegure de dejarlos en buenas manos y cada vez que salen las tortuguitas la regalamos a personas que quieren a una trotuga
que genial! Aquí también pensé en regalar los bebés, aunque hay bastante espacio para ellos y más bien la gente nos trae cada día más para que adoptemos y cuidemos...

Holaaaa @desireeart me parece interesante lo que acabas de decir en este post, ya que anteriormente cuando era niña en mi casa teníamos morrocoys 🐢 y realmente ignoraba el peligro que era que el lodo pegado a sus caparazones pudieran voltearlos. Al igual que tu a mi me encantan las mascotas y creo que es responsabilidad de todos las que las tenemos protegerlas.
