Ways I Prioritize My Pets Over Myself

As I previously stated in my blogs, I used to think of myself all the time, what's good for me and what's comfortable for me.

It changed radically when I decided to own pets, not just to earn from them but to fill my heart with joy at the sight of them.

Here are ways I noticed that I prioritize them over myself.

Meticulous Food Preparation:

That's my pigs' food. The fine-looking one is for the piglets and the coarse one is for the sows. Truth is, I have to slice the banana trunk finely and the taro stalk and leaves and cook them together for a long time over a firewood fire. I'll soak the pellet feeds accordingly then mix them manually with vegetables. Everyday! With my chicken, they have crack corn and sometimes rice and with my cats and dogs, I intentionally buy fish just for them. I even refrigerate the cooked fish to avoid spoiling it for their next meal.🤭

Can you imagine that I don't do such a thing for my meal? I just eat whatever is on the table and I just don't eat if nothing is ready when I have to eat after I'm done with my chores- I just go straight to bed after washing up. Hahaha

Cleaning Up Personal Space/Room:

With my piglets, I usually love seeing them over pictures and videos when I'm on my phone so naturally, I capture almost every moment when I'm with them. I take time cleaning them up, washing and brushing off their poop and stuff. With the hut where my chickens, cats, and puppies live on the farm, I take time sweeping and cleaning up debris they have scattered when they're playing with cats, especially ropes. I wash their bowls regularly.

Honestly, I don't wash my cups and plates after I eat. Haha and my room, I just intentionally clean when I'm down with allergic reactions due to too much dust. HAHAHA

Spending Time in Leisure:

When I'm alone, I just don't stop moving around, thinking, and doing things. I'm such a busybody but amazingly, I do relax unconsciously when I'm with pets. It's like I don't think much and I tend to chill for them. I had to wake up early so I could let them outside and play.
Imagine? Chilling for them and not for myself.haha

Beautification Before Taking Pictures: I do take selfies and personal pictures but I don't always post them for you know, I don't beautify myself, even comb my hair for good visuals. Haha With my piglets, I bathe them for pinkish bodies, glistening in their fats. Lol with my cat, I always look for better angles, whole body, and stuff. With my chickens, I always make them look good. Hahaha And yes, I post them more often on my social apps.

Vacation/Sightseeing
I don't do vacation, and I just go out on weekends for my community work but other than that, literally none. The funny thing is, before I let my sow Sweeney have her AI, I let her roam for some time. With Olive my cat, I let her take a vacation at home when she gave birth and brought her back to the farm. Same with my chickens, I let them have a change of location from time to time. HAHAHA

I find this funny honestly. Why am I being like this? It's not that it's a bad thing, I just find it amusing. Gone is the witchy, cruel jelly Vine? Hahaha

Drop a similar thing if you do have a pet and I'll give you Ecency points (that I don't use, that's why I'm giving it away).

It never gets boring with animals and sometimes they are better company than humans.

You have a lot of pets :D and now I am missing mine. I've been away from there around 3 months now and my cat has 3 cute kittens that I am dying to see.

What beautiful pets, they are gorgeous. I have a cat and a cat, I also have a great group of chickens and one of them just had several chicks. I am very happy with this group of chicks and I have to take care of them a lot because they are very nosy and sometimes they get too close to the cats... hehehehe.

Look, you have to take care of yourself and feed yourself very well, so that you will have very good health and energy, so you will be able to take better care of your beautiful pets.

Ah yes. Chicks is very noisy haha
As for me, cats and chicks seems to get along just fine. It depends on breeding maybe.

And yes, I'm trying to care for myself for my pets will suffer if I'm sick too.

Thank you for dropping by.🤍
