Smiley Dog: Before and After
Dogs' facial expressions are very unique. I often admire their expressions and body language. My dog, Dude, also expresses his emotions through his face, body, and tail.
The left side of the photo shows him before his walk. We had just arrived at the beach. He looks a bit nervous. Although he really likes going to the beach, he needs some time to unwind his nervousness.
The right side of the photo shows him after his walk. Look at his eyes, nose, mouth, and tongue. He looks totally different from the photo on the left. He is satisfied, happy, and calm. I will show you his smiley process today.
He often gets excited in the car because he loves going out with us. He usually can't stop whining in the car, and this day was no exception.
He explores the beach because he smells many other dogs. What can he see or smell?
He looks very serious about investigating the beach!
Oh! He found something... He dashed to the target.
Yay! He found some nice-looking driftwood!
He is skipping with his new driftwood!
Now, he looks very happy in the car as we head home. His eyes look totally different, full of energy. He recharged his energy at the beach. We all felt refreshed together, and he sensed our relaxed energy as well. Even his hair looks shiny.

ニコニコの犬：ビフォーアフター
犬の顔の表情はとてもユニークです。犬の表情と体を使った感情表現にとても感心します。私の犬のドュードも顔、体としっぽを使って豊かな感情表現をします。
左側の写真は散歩前の表情で、海辺に到着時の表情です。少し緊張しているように見えます。ドュードは海に行くのが好きですが、緊張感が解けるまでに少々時間がかかります。
右側の写真は散歩を終えた後の顔です。目、鼻、口と舌を見てください。左側の表情とかなり違うのがわかると思います。完全に満足顔で嬉しそうに落ち着いた表情です。今日は、ドュードがニコニコになるまでの過程をお見せたいと思います。
私たちといっしょに出かけるのが好きなので、ドュードは車に乗るとかなり興奮します。クンクンと鳴くのがとまりません。この日も到着するまでいつも通りクンクンと泣き続けていました。
海辺の探索をして、他の犬のにおいを嗅ぎ回っています。何が見えて、どんなにおいがするのでしょうか？
海辺の捜査を慎重に取り組んでいる様子です。
あれ！何か見つけたようですね…標的に向かって走り出しました。
やったー！とてもいい感じの流木を発見しました！
新しい流木をくわえてスキップしています。
そして、帰りの車の中で最終的にこの嬉しい表情です。目が初めと違って元気いっぱいです。海辺でエネルギー供給ができたのですね。私たちも同じくリラックスしたので、人間の雰囲気も感じとっているのでしょう。毛並みもキラキラしているように見えますね。
