(Luna & "Los Cedros")
[ENG] It is a pleasure to write this entry in the Hive Pets community, after a long time without participating in Hive.
Something that has happened in this time, and perhaps an important reason why I have not talked much this time, is the death of Kafu, who was and always will be the first dog that has lived with me until his death. A mix of 'Alaskan Malamute' and 'Husky' who arrived at my house on October 11, 2010, two months after his birth, and who without knowing it taught me responsibility, to understand communication beyond words, to be tolerant and that many times filled me with confidence to venture into unknown situations. Kafu died on November 26, 2021, and in those 11 years I hope I have given him at least a fraction of the love he gave me.
After Kafu's death, on January 7 of this year, McQueen died at the age of 12, a 'Husky' who came to me at the end of 2018 due to life circumstances, adapting to our herd and teaching us that it is never too late to a new beginning.
[ESP] Es un placer escribir esta entrada en la comunidad de Hive Pets, luego de mucho sin tiempo sin participar en Hive.
Algo de lo que ha pasado en este tiempo, y quizá una razón importante por la que no he hablado mucho este tiempo, es la muerte de Kafú, quien fuera y siempre será el primer perro que ha vivido conmigo hasta su muerte. Una mezcla de 'Alaskan Malamute' y 'Husky' que llegó a mi casa el 11 de octubre de 2010, dos meses luego de su nacimiento, y que sin saberlo me enseñó responsabilidad, a entender la comunicación más allá de las palabras, a ser tolerante y que muchas veces me llenó de confianza para aventurarme en situaciones desconocidas. Kafú murió el 26 de noviembre de 2021, y esos 11 años espero haberle regalado al menos una fracción del amor que él me brindó a mí.
Luego de la muerte de Kafú, el 7 de enero de este año, murió McQueen con 12 años, un 'Husky' que llegó a mí a finales de 2018 por circunstancias de la vida, adaptándose a nuestra manada y enseñándonos que nunca es tarde para un nuevo comienzo.

[ENG] After the death of Kafu and McQueen, I was concerned about how these absences could affect Luna (Kafú's daughter), so I have taken on the task of ensuring her well-being with greater impetus, through leisure and recreation activities. One of the greatest pleasures for Luna, as for any dog belonging to a working breed, are walks, so with the aim of increasing Luna's well-being we began to visit new places, venturing out on hour-long tours of the city and through the surrounding mountains.
[ESP] Después de la muerte de Kafú y McQueen me preocupó cómo esas ausencias podrían afectar a Luna (hija de Kafú), por lo que he tomado con mayor ímpetu la tarea de asegurar su bienestar, a través de actividades de esparcimie dento y recreación. Uno de los placeres más grandes para Luna, como para cualquier perro perteneciente a una raza de trabajo, son los paseos, así que con el objetivo de incrementar el bienestar de Luna comenzamos a visitar nuevos lugares, aventurándonos en recorridos de horas por la ciudad y por las montañas aledañas.

[ENG] Among these new places, we began to visit a space called "Los Cedros", which is a group of mountains with trails and streams located in San Antonio de los Altos. And although I already knew the place, I had never taken Luna because to get there you have to walk about two hours + all the hours you can spend walking through the mountains of "Los Cedros".
[ESP] Entre estos nuevos lugares, comenzamos a visitar un espacio llamado "Los Cedros", que es una agrupación de montañas con senderos y riachuelos ubicado en San Antonio de los Altos. Y aunque ya yo conocía el lugar nunca había llevado a Luna pues para llegar hay que caminar cerca de dos horas + todas las horas que puedes estar caminando por las montañas de "Los Cedros".
[ENG] Since I took Luna to this place, we have spent hundreds of hours traveling and learning about her latitudes. Freeing Luna from the leash and allowing her to run around freely is what I enjoy most about this space where we can find other people walking, other pets being happy and even cows grazing. It is this diversity that has allowed Luna to learn to relate to other species, sometimes with curiosity and others with caution, but always in a balanced way.
[ESP] Desde que llevo a Luna a este lugar han sido centenas las horas que hemos pasado recorriendo y conociendo sus latitudes. Liberar a Luna de la correa y permitirle correr a gusto por ahí es de lo que más disfruto de este espacio en el que nos podemos encontrar con otras personas paseando, otras mascotas siendo felices e incluso vacas pastando. Es esta diversidad la que le ha permitido a Luna aprender a relacionarse con otras especies, a veces con curiosidad y otras con precaución, pero siempre de manera equilibrada.

[ENG] "Los Cedros" has been a space to comfort us from our losses and connect with each other and with the land, so I couldn't help but recognize its magic in these lines.
[ESP] "Los Cedros" ha sido un espacio para reconfortarnos de nuestras pérdidas y conectarnos entre nosotros y con la tierra, así que no podía dejar de reconocer su magia en estas líneas.

Lamento la pérdida de tus mascotas bro, es sumamente triste perder a quiénes llegan a ser verdaderamente nuestros mejores amigos en ocasiones. Luna es hermosa, los huskys tienen un encanto particular, son perros con mucho porte. Qué genial que hayas decidido dedicarle tiempo a Luna luego que perdiera su progenitor, y que den juntos esos paseos por esos terrenos, sin duda ella disfruta mucho de esas aventuras ¡Un gran saludo bro! ¡bendiciones y mucha salud para ambos!
Sí vale, los malamutes, igual que los huskies son perros de trabajo y disfrutan mucho esos paseos en los que pueden frenar libremente su energía, eso permite que sean perros balanceados y de buen carácter! Gracias por tu comentario!
