Bath day for my doggy baby🐶❤️ [ESP/ING]

El día de hoy les quiero contar mi actividad favorita del día: Darle un rico baño a mi bebé, pamela.

Today I want to tell you about my favorite activity of the day: giving a nice bath to my baby, pamela.

Desde que pamela llegó a mi vida siempre estábamos en mi ciudad de origen donde vivo en una casa con un jardín ideka para bañarla pero desde hace 6 meses ella me hace compañía en mi lugar de residencia donde lamentablemente no tengo el mismo espacio para su baño y eso al principio lo complicó un poco porque no tenía idea de dónde bañarla para que fuera cómodo para ella, hasta que finalmente me decidí por hacerlo en el baño en el área de la ducha donde yo termino con mi pantalón totalmente mojado porque debo sentarme en la orilla para poder bañarla jajaja.

Since Pamela came into my life we were always in my hometown where I live in a house with a garden ideka to bathe her but since 6 months ago she keeps me company in my place of residence where unfortunately I do not have the same space for her bath and that at first complicated it a little because I had no idea where to bathe her so it would be comfortable for her, until I finally decided to do it in the bathroom in the shower area where I end up with my pants totally wet because I have to sit on the edge to bathe her hahaha.

Lo primero que hago es llenar con agua hasta la mitad un tobo donde pueda meterla a ella para que se remoje un poco, le echo un chorrito de shampoo de perritos y revuelvo para que haga espumita.

The first thing I do is fill a bucket half full of water where I can put her in it to soak a little, pour a little doggie shampoo in it and stir it to make it foamy.

Después la meto a ella para que se vayan remojando un poquito sus patitas traseras porque es el área que más se le ensucia por su condición (a veces las arrastra cuando está cansada) y con ayuda de un potecito le voy echando agua en la parte de arriba.

Then I put her in to soak her hind legs a little bit because it is the area that gets dirty the most due to her condition (sometimes she drags them when she is tired) and with the help of a small pot I pour water on the top.

Luego le pongo champú en sus patitas y en el cuerpecito para ir quitando la suciedad, con respecto a las manchitas color marrón al rededor de sus ojos, estás no sé quitan con champucito porque es por el lagrimeo y la oxidación de sus lagrimitas (eso leí) y que debo comprar un producto especial para eso que aún no he conseguido.

Then I put shampoo on his paws and body to remove the dirt, with respect to the little brown spots around his eyes, these are not removed with shampoo because it is due to the tearing and oxidation of his tears (so I read) and that I must buy a special product for that that I have not yet found.

Antes de retirar el champú, me gusta ponerle un poco de jabón para perritos (que también ayuda con el control de piojos y animalitos que vivan en el pelaje de nuestra mascota) y así le hago bastante espuma, siempre evitando que esté muy cerca del ojo, durante todo el proceso ella se queda muy tranquila y la verdad parece que lo disfruta jaja.

Before removing the shampoo, I like to put a little bit of dog soap (which also helps with the control of lice and animals that live in the fur of our pet) and so I make enough foam, always avoiding that it is very close to the eye, during the whole process she is very quiet and the truth seems to enjoy it haha.

La enjuago con abundante agüita y repito el proceso con el jabón para asegurarme de que quede blanquita como es su pelaje. Cuando la termino de enjuagar, la dejo sacudirse bien y la envuelvo en una toalla, la pongo encima de otra toalla mientras dejo que se frote para ir quitando el exceso de agua.

I rinse her with plenty of water and repeat the process with the soap to make sure she is as white as her coat is. When I finish rinsing her, I let her shake well and wrap her in a towel, put her on top of another towel while I let her rub to remove the excess water.

Como deben imaginar, en mi residencia no hay un lugar donde pueda bajarla a tomar el sol sin que se ensucie y tendría que bajarla mojada en el ascensor lo cual me parece incómodo para ambas, entonces lo que hago es que con ayuda de mi secador y un peine voy secandola poco a poco.

As you can imagine, in my residence there is no place where I can take her down to sunbathe without getting her dirty and I would have to take her down wet in the elevator which I find uncomfortable for both of us, so what I do is that with the help of my hairdryer and a comb I dry her little by little.

Cuando ella está totalmente seca comienzo a peinarla más para comenzar a recortar los pelitos que veo muy largos, así como los nudos que se le hacen por olvidar peinarla, luego con ayuda de una tijerita pequeña recortó los pelitos de tu cara para evitar que entren en sus ojitos; admito que le recorte bastante pero era justo y necesario jaja.

When she is completely dry I begin to comb her more to start trimming the hairs that I see too long, as well as the knots that are made by forgetting to comb her, then with the help of a small scissors I trimmed the hairs of your face to prevent them from entering her eyes; I admit that I trimmed a lot but it was fair and necessary haha.

Aqui los resultados, antes de ponerle su hermoso tutú y con todos los pelitos que le quite aún en el piso.

Here are the results, before putting on her beautiful tutu and with all the little hairs I removed still on the floor.

Y así termino finalmente Pamelita, oliendo muy rico y con su pelito esponjadito por el secador siendo la perrita más linda y coqueta que mis ojitos han visto jaja.

And that's how Pamelita finally ended up, smelling delicious and with her hair fluffy from the dryer being the cutest and most flirtatious dog my eyes have ever seen haha.

Como recomendación les puedo decir que si tienen aire central o aire en la sala de su apartamento y quieren bañar a sus mascotas pues apaguenlo un rato antes de bañarlos, que ya se sienta el calorcito en la casa antes de monjarlos para que así no sufran mucho con el frío, sus mascotas se lo agradecerán muchísimo!

As a recommendation I can tell you that if you have central air or air in the living room of your apartment and you want to bathe your pets, turn it off for a while before bathing them, so that they feel the warmth in the house before bathing them so they do not suffer too much with the cold, your pets will thank you very much!
