La Hora del baño:

- Frecuencia : Deberás bañarlo cada 30 a 15 días, dependiendo de la raza, los perros que tienen su piel mas expuesta, como los Shar Pei, deberás pasarle trapos húmedos cada semana por todo su cuerpo. La hora del baño debe ser cuando está el sol.
- Jabones y Shampoo: Deben ser específicos para perros, tambien puede ser jabón de azufre o de bebe neutros. Hay para ciertos tipos de pelo, para aplicarle estos, deberás consultar con tu veterinario para saber que es seguro para tu perro.
- Cuidado con su cara: Al echarle el agua y jabón procura que no caiga en su cara directamente, ya que sus ojos, oídos y nariz son muy sensibles y pueden incluso infectarse por humedad o jabón en estas zonas. Lo mejor es pasarle un paño mojado o echarle poco a poco agua con la mano.
- Secado: Hay que secarlos con paños que absorban bastante la humedad, deberás secar muy bien, sacarlo a llevar sol, así lo seque con secador. El secador debe estar a temperatura muy baja, a una distancia adecuada, de modo que coloques tu mano y no te quemes.
