The temperatures are now around freezing at night and the sun sets at 4pm. Even though it isn't extremely cold, the air outside feels icy. The mountains around us got some snow and I can smell and feel it.
It's wonderful to snuggle together with the cats during the cold seasons. It's lovely and warm in our home, but the radiators, the bed and my lap are favorite spots now.
Little Sonic
This little bench in the hallway is one of Little Sonic's favorite spots. That bench belongs to the cats anyway. It's right by a radiator and I always have a blanket on it, so Little Sonic can get underneath it. He always gets under blankets during the cold season.
Leo
This is Leo, he's Lily and Little Sonic's brother. Leo almost always sleeps on his back, or at least stretched out in some way. His favorite spot is on the empty corner of the bed. The bed consists of two beds really, so we have enough room for the kitties.
Hero
During the day, Hero always wants to sit or lie in boxes. If there is any box in the home, no matter how small, he'll try to lie in it. He doesn't mind if it's a tight fit, it feels comfortable to him. Over night, he'll sleep on the bed, or in one of the kitty beds/baskets.
Lily
Lily's favorite spot during the day is on the top of the kitty tree in the living room. She likes to be able to see everything that goes on. During the night, she is on the bed.
Snuggles
Lisa and Freddy love to sit higher up somewhere and watch everyone at night, before it's time to go to sleep.
All of the kitties enjoy to snuggle in bed every night. I usually have up to 3 kitties snuggled right up to me all night. Some will later leave and some will come back again. If they're not in bed, they will sleep by a radiator, or snuggle underneath one of the blankets in their various cat beds.
This is Lily, 4 month old Freddy and Lisa on my bed in the morning. Lily and Lisa always like to have Freddy between them. It's so cute!
Lisa almost always snuggles up to Leo or me. She rarely sleeps alone.
Sometimes I'll have Freddy on my lap, and then Little Sonic will also come on my lap, or the other way around. A few days ago, I had Freddy and Little Sonic on my lap, and Lily behind me. They love snuggling so much, they can't get enough. Ever. I don't mind, I'm always there for some snuggles. Lisa and Hero also regularly curl up on my lap when I sit at the desk.
