Today was a special day, at it has been snowing a lot in my area.
This is always an exciting moment, and quite rare as we used to get some dirty snow but never consistent one ; I remember the last one, Nala was just a few months old, so it was like 5 years ago! 😵
My dog really likes snow. But maybe that is because I really enjoy it and that a dog always likes what we like lol
But it's a fact, when it's snowing outside I call her to look at the window, and then she looks at the flakes with great attention and excitement.
Then, when it is time to go outside, she is really excited and surprised by the change of her usual neighbourhood. She smells everything, pulls on the leash and then smells again!
After a few steps of exploration, it is time to play.
The funny thing about snow is that it is an endless ball!
My dog would chase it forever. Or at least she would get bored less quickly than me, it's like infinity in human time 😂.
So, as I made my snowball (usually a really bad one lol), Nala waits with bated breath, ready to do battle with the ball. Then I said "3... 2 ... 1..." and throw the ball.
And finally it ends up in my dog's mouth !
She isn't afraid by the coldness of the ball, she will immediatly return back to the game !!
After playing with me, she went over to a child who was also playing with a snowball and asked him to throw the ball. And then she plays with the little child as if they had known each other for a long time!
This is Nala's behaviour. She is very friendly with people and likes to interact with them.
So the walk was over and we went home to warm up 😌
I hope it will be snowing again tomorrow so we can do it again 😄
