In one of the first posts I shared here on Hive; I told you how my wife @saraleo rescued our kitty Omi from certain death and how it has been the wonderful experience of living with a feline for 4 years. Omi being such a territorial cat has prevented us from adopting other cats and bringing them to live with us, so we made the decision to feed 3 neighborhood cats.
Musa Y Flaco
"La Musa" is a beautiful cat who lives on the roof of the mechanic shop behind our building. When we started to feed her, "El Flaco" appeared, a cat with testicles like maracas and more adventures than "Bat man" - hahahahahahaha- and as they fought for the food of the Muse, we decided to give his to Flaco too and so the matter was solved. Since we don't have access to the roof where they are, we invented a "home delivery" system, which consists of throwing the food in small packages from our window. At the beginning it was a little difficult until we were with the days refining the aim and already ... is "a piece of cake" hahahahahahahahahahahahaha.
Pipo
A while back Musa was spayed by a neighbor who tried to keep her in her house without success, as she did not adapt to living in captivity. Before this she had given birth to 3 kittens of which only one survived, we called him "Pipo", we were feeding him for about a year until his mother threw him off the roof and we stopped seeing him. For a while we were thinking the worst.... But luckily one day we found him in the front yard of my building and we started feeding him again until today. A curious thing happens with Pipo; so far we don't know his sex.
Cats are super methodical and routine with their schedules and are used to come every day in the morning and in the evening to look for their food. Over time we have watched with great satisfaction as they have put on weight and look cleaner and healthier. Both Sari and I are very happy to be able to help them a little with how hard it is for them to survive on the streets. Musa, Flaco and Pipo are semi-wild cats, distrustful and suspicious of humans, God knows what they have done to them and what they have had to go through. Pipo knows perfectly well that I am the one who feeds him and he thanks me with his Meow Meow and his tender looks, but he doesn't let me touch him, although with time I have earned the right to be very close to him when he eats and that makes me very happy.
El Flaco sometimes gets lost and doesn't come to eat for days, and when he shows up he is hurt and "knackered", Sari says that he falls in love and fights with other cats for females and territories. And Musa, as she is operated, has a quiet life and does not move from the roof, which is not very good at all, because she has put on a lot of weight -she is a white ball- hahahaha and there is no one to put her on a diet because she is very greedy hahahahahahahahahaha!!!!
It is incredible the affection that can be felt for these animals, how beautiful and interesting they are, how tender and playful and at the same time wise and independent. I declare myself to be totally "Enchanted" by these beings of light -hahahahahahahahahaha-
Gatos callejeros
En uno de lo primeros posts que compartí aquí en Hive; les conté como mi esposa @saraleo rescató de una muerte segura a nuestra gatica Omi y como ha sido la maravillosa experiencia de convivir durante 4 años con un felino. Omi al ser una gata tan territorial ha impedido adoptar otros gatos y traerlos a vivir con nosotros, así que tomamos la decisión de alimentar a 3 gatos del barrio.
Musa Y Flaco
"La Musa" es una gata hermosa que vive en el techo del taller de mecánica que está detrás de nuestro edificio. Cuando empezamos a alimentarla apareció "El Flaco", un gato arrabalero con unos testículos como maracas y más aventuras que "Bat man" -jajajajaja- y como peleaban por la comida de la Musa, decidimos darle lo suyo al Flaco también y así el asunto quedó resuelto. Como no tenemos acceso al techo donde ellos están, inventamos un sistema de entrega a "domicilio", que consiste en lanzarles la comida en unos paqueticos desde nuestra ventana. Al principio fue un poco difícil hasta que fuimos con los días afinando la puntería y ya... es "pan comido" jajajajajajajaja.
Pipo
Hace un tiempito atrás la Musa fue esterilizada por una vecina que intentó tenerla en su casa sin éxito, ya que no se adaptó a vivir en cautiverio. Escapó y volvió a su techo del taller, antes de esto ella había parido 3 gaticos de los cuales sobrevivió uno solo al que llamamos "Pipo", lo estuvimos alimentando como un año hasta que su madre lo echó del techo y lo dejamos de ver. Por un tiempo estuvimos pensando en lo peor... Pero por suerte un día lo encontramos en el jardín del frente de mi edificio y lo empezamos a alimentar otra vez hasta la fecha. Con Pipo pasa una cosa curiosa; hasta el momento no sabemos su sexo.
Los gatos son supermetódicos y rutinarios con sus horarios y están acostumbrados a venir todos los días por la mañana y al atardecer a buscar su comida. Con el tiempo hemos observado con mucha satisfacción como han engordado y se ven más limpios y saludables. Tanto a Sari como a mí nos hace muy feliz poder ayudarlos un poco con lo duro que la tienen al sobrevivir en las calles. Musa, Flaco y Pipo son gatos semisalvajes, desconfiados y recelosos con los humanos, sabrá Dios las cosas que les habrán hecho y por todo lo que han tenido que pasar. Pipo sabe perfectamente que yo soy quien lo alimenta y me lo agradece con su Miau Miau y sus miraditas tiernas, pero no me deja tocarlo, aunque con el tiempo me he ganado el derecho de estar muy cerca de él cuando come y eso me hace muy feliz.
El Flaco a veces se pierde y no viene a comer en días, y cuando aparece está herido y "hecho polvo", dice Sari que es que se enamora y anda peleando con otros gatos por hembras y territorios. Y la Musa cómo está operada tiene una vida tranquila y no se mueve del techo, lo que no está muy bien del todo, ya que ha engordado mucho -es una bola blanca- jajajaja ¡y no hay quien la ponga a dieta porque es muy golosa jajajajajajajaja!!!
Es increíble el cariño que se puede sentir por estos animales, lo hermosos e interesantes que son, lo tiernos y juguetones y al mismo tiempo sabios e independientes. Yo me declaro totalmente "Engatusado" por estos seres de luz -jajajajajajajaja-.

Hola.
Bueno ya sabes que mis suegros viven en otro edificio muy cerca de uds. Ellos viven en la planta baja, y detrás hay un pequeño patio con un muro y por ahí a cada rato pasaba una gata con tres gaticos pequeños, que Maria Claudia cada vez que los veía se enternecia. A ella le encantan los gatos. También pasa uno blanco, que no le cae bien a mis suegros ya que se mete en la cocina a robarse la comida, hay que estar con la ventana cerrada!!
Me alegra que los alimentes, así no tienen que estar robando comida de las casas.

Gracias amiga @jordy0827 por pasar, si es duro para los gatos vivir en la calle, en mi cuadra somos varios los que los alimentamos, pero aún no es suficiente porque se reproducen mucho y rápido...es un problemón.
