Here she is on the couch, and for once she's actually sitting on the seat part, and not perched on the top of it like a cat.
She's really good at sleeping on things, though. Here she is in my recliner the other day as well.
Truth be told, she likes to do a lot more than that. She really enjoys walks, too, but it's been very cold and snowy and we haven't been on the same kinds of long walks that we go on when it's a little nicer. We'll be sharing a lot more photos and videos of Stella's adventures, though.
She's 3 years old and she's our only dog at the moment. When we got her, we had another dog named Ida. Ida, unfortunately, passed away about a year ago and we haven't been in a hurry to get another dog. Stella definitely seems like she's most comfortable as an only dog. It could be that she just felt too competitive with Ida or something, but they would pretty much constantly be play fighting, and every once in a while, they'd snap at each other.
We may look into getting a chill male dog to be her buddy instead of another female, but we'll see about that. We're happy as a small family for now.
