Socialisation and dog education is an important part of our lives. Most of my dogs didn't have caring owners. Some of them were absolutely wild when they came to us. Their main task is to learn how to be real pets. If an ordinary puppy begins his training by learning commands, my dogs begin their training with how to trust people, how to sleep in the house on their bed, how to have delicious food in their bowl every day. And only after that we start training in teams.
Why is the latter also important? No one knows how life will turn out. Especially during the war. The more my dogs are adapted to life, the more chances that their life will remain normal and they will be able to find a new home if something happens to me. It's not pessimism, it's realism.
So whenever possible, I take them to classes at the Dog School. Here they don't just study the teams, but have the opportunity to communicate with other people and dogs. This is important for their socialisation.
But what they learn much faster is to mischivous 😂 Tell me, how could you steal and eat food for aquarium fish?! Is it really that delicious? 🫣
Or, for example, Bucks. For some reason, he believes that leaving the house through the door is for weaklings. The window is a completely different matter! Here he feels his own exclusivity! How lucky that it's just the ground floor!
Bucks seems to be really a smart dog. 😁 Maybe he think to be like a young boy who run away from home to meet his friends while nobody see him. ❤️
Maybe he has some illusions about it. But... my house is surrounded by a fence. So regardless of whether he leaves it through the window or through the door, he has no chance to escape 😉
