Furry friends

Sometimes I'm asked how my 18 dogs get along with each other. There are a lot of them, all different, each has its own character.

To be honest, there is no perfect harmony there. It's an ordinary dog's life with all its rules.

They have their own little alliances. Someone sleeps next to each other, someone likes to walk together, and someone makes friends only during meals. For example, two can calmly lie next to each other on the couch, and the third will definitely come and begin to quietly survive them from the place. Not out of anger - that's just how it works for him.

Sometimes they play. And they play strangely: one runs, the second pretends to be very busy with a stick, and the third suddenly decides that right now it is necessary to catch up with everyone. In five minutes, everything ends, as if nothing had happened.

There are also grumbling. Someone took someone else's place. Someone came too close to the bowl. Someone decided that this particular toy is the most important in the world now. We grumbled for a couple of seconds and parted again.

But with all this, they still stick together. On a walk, they always check where the others are. If one went ahead, someone will definitely run after. If someone is late, the others start looking around.

So their friendship is not about perfect order. It's more about the habit of living nearby. And about the quiet feeling of the pack, of which I am a member.

Man, 18 dogs are a lot! Taking care of them is a challenge but I am also sure that having all of them are like having a sweet therapy that will make you feel happy. I know coz mama has 6, 2 are adopted. And even though she struggles, she said, they are the only ones that can make her really happy. They never make her feel lonely. I'm sure you too with yours 🩷🌟✨. Anyways I find it really cute when all of them are doing their own things. Haha. And watching them will really just put a smile on you. 🩷

You're indeed a successful fur parent because you are able to prioritize your 18 fur babies' needs, ensure their safety, and provide them with love and care. I'm glad to know that they enjoy the companionship of each other. 😇
