Hi, Hive folks!

Romashka and I decided to try to resume our walks. She is already quite strong after the operation and generally feels good.

In January, I will take her back to the veterinary clinic for examination. Monitoring her health condition is all we can do for now. Unfortunately the metastases have already reached her lungs. But I try not to despair. The fact is that at her age all processes are already slowed down, which means that the disease can freeze at this stage for quite a long time.

Our walks are now noticeably reduced in time and distance, but it would be wrong to refuse them altogether, movement is life. I try to find the balance when she will receive the necessary activity, but at the same time the peculiarities of her state of health will be taken into account.

We slowly wander along the road to the forest, we have nowhere to hurry. The plants around look amazing. Nature continues to have fun, arranging weather swings for us from thaw to frost and back. Melted and refrozen snow covers the plants with a crystal crust. It looks fabulous, although of course it's not very good for the plants themselves.

I think that all this is a consequence of global warming. In the end, mankind has not taken into account the interests of nature for quite a long time, and now we will probably have to pay for everything that we have done. On the other hand, I am more or less calm about nature itself: it perfectly adapted to everything before, adapts now and will adapt in the future, but whether humanity will remain a part of all this is a subject of a big question.

Such temperature fluctuations definitely do not add cheerfulness. This applies not only to myself, but also to those of my dogs who are already quite old and this worries me more than my own well-being.

Nevertheless, we try not to reduce activity. It is worth allowing yourself to relax and then it will be difficult to concentrate again. If the weather is too questionable, I just take with me those dogs who are younger and more active. As for Romashka, any walk with her is a matter of her physical condition on a particular day, and there can no longer be any established order.
