LOL - this onion guys understand no humour - I know many from our team create shitloads of views there - another of the top subs I am banned. Think you can delete me from leaderboard but I will still post stuff on reddit :-)

Maybe I do not understand the background on "theonion" or "nottheonion" - thought a story that is true and funny but no one links Tesla (company, car) to a physical unit would fit, certainly not - after some silly questions and comments "Tesla is a car" and my explanation Tesla is not just a car or a company but also a unit (named after Tesla) I got banned, not a bit but "permanently" - even told them I am German maybe I have issues to understand them. Anyways.
Too geeky for them, probably. The surprise is that they banned you for this.
Bilingual posts can also be risky - some mods can take a look at the first paragraph and conclude: "that's not English, bye-bye".
True, bi-lingual was a topic by one comment but I explained it in a nice way I thought
I am pretty sure, that is because of a snitch in r/nottheonion who reported us as spammers, and unfortunately, the mod acted immediately without proper judgment, even removing the reporter's own comment afterward. What's frustrating is that this person, who made the complaint, hasn’t contributed anything to Reddit since 2016.
Meanwhile, we’ve been putting in the effort to share good, useful content on Reddit. I’ve messaged the mods politely and hope they’ll reconsider our presence in r/nottheonion and other subs.
Sometimes you just run into a few resentful people who don’t have the guts to create something of their own, but are quick to complain about what others are capable of doing, unfortunately.
