While I totally get that quickly looking into Clash of Streamers, at first sight, brings you to a youtube hit-piece made to get clicks making you think it might be a scam. In reality, it's actually one of the most polished Fun Play2Ean experiences around that is fully released with 100k+ daily active players and 20k+ revenue a day. The tokenomics also are actually fair and sustainable. (Read: Play2Earn Dynamics Explained). It also is Free2Play and Play2Earn but it requires quite some insight as the game has a lot of depth to it and 95% of the players still have no real clue how everything works. Thanks for the update haha. I tried playing the game but honestly I just couldn't get past the ridiculous. Maybe others like it but I don't understand how haha.
I would say just keep an eye on it. It's legit and by no means a scam (I would actually argue it's one of the only play2earn games that doesn't have pump & dump 'create coins out of thin air' tokenomics out there that are actually sustainable). Certainly not for everyone but it is designed to be optimized for the mobile market that is full of casual players who indeed want a dopamine rush. There is a lot of dept to it but it takes quite some time to start discovering that.
Personally, I see all Play2earn as 'money management' games where getting in early and doing well in terms of earnings is where most skill comes in. In that regard, CoS is looking like an almost sure winner given the numbers in sales they are able to put up compared to their market cap. It right now feels similar to getting into Splinterlands a couple years ago when there was no hype yet and it was easy to get all the rare stuff for free.
