Goodbye Mumbai

in Indiaunitedlast year

It has been a busy day with so much to do in the morning. I had already started packing up from yesterday since I have a lot of luggage this time. Some of my friends living in Muscat I have to carry some things for them also which has added up to my luggage. As far as it's in the allowed weight I am fine to take it for them. Excess baggage fees are too high so it would never be wise to travel with excess baggage and end up paying at the airport.

The holidays have passed off so quickly. 2 Weeks seems like 2 days. It feels like I landed 2 days back and its already time to go. I had a wonderful time during my stay. Completed a lot of the work with regards to my new home building. Met the architects finalized the home layout plan. Visited the site, met the other people who would be working on my home like the civil engineer, contractor who would be doing the actual construction work and all. I am relieved that I have managed to complete all that was on my list. Besides that, I had a hearty time with my friends, I had a lot of socializing with them, we went to clubs, for dinners, and loads of fun. The other important thing I did was joining my Aerial Yoga classes which I only get to do in Mumbai.

The last and the most important of all was my Son's birthday celebrations, around which the whole trip was planned. It was such a wonderful time being here with him in these days. As children grow up, they think differently but as parents our feelings never change and we still treat them like how we would do in their younger days. For me it's the same :-)

Mumbai Airport is very fancy. In some places it feels like you are in a sophisticated mall :-) Clicked some random pictures at the airport.

As I go back again, there is lots that await me in Muscat also. The next few months are going to be busy since I have back-to-back guests visiting me. In 2 days' time my Cousin sister with her girls and my mom arrives. I am so excited and looking forward to them coming over. Mom comes every year and stays with me for a month but this time I have asked her to stay longer for 3 to 4 months. Sister will stay for a week and leave and mom continues to stay with me. I have good company for the next 3 months.

Wow! You visited Mumbai. I am from Kolkata never visited Mumbai. Air port of Mumbai is cool. Good to know that that trip has met your expectation here. Good times always pass quickly.Thats how two weeks become 2 days.hehe..

Good bye Naina ji and have a safe journey.

Ya, good times just sway away. Mumbai is my home and hence I have to keep visiting it once a quarter for sure:)

Mumbai is such a nice place and the airport is beautiful. Have a safe trip

Thank you. It was all well and smooth

It's good to know that you had a safe and great journey. Have a nice day

It's really luxurious and fun there, Mrs. @nainaztengra.
I'm sure you came away with a positive impression. You claim that two weeks feel like two days. It's a really good feeling to be somewhere, right?

As children grow up, they think differently but as parents our feelings never change and we still treat them like how we would do in their younger days. For me it's the same :-)

You are a loving mother, and that never changes, even though your children are different.
You look very busy, but you still have time to remember and plan special days for special people around you. very pleasant atmosphere in a family.

Your mother must also be very pleasant, and surely you have gotten everything from your mother; her affection has never changed for her children.

Have a great day.

I believe that Family is the most important part of our life. Rest everyone and everything comes and goes but one thing that will always be our is our family and then the family grows in the way we nurture it.
Yes, my mother has always been a very kind soul and she has been always kind towards me which I would like to pass it on to my children.
Thank you for your soulful comments and wish you a great day!

oh...you have no time to be boring, dear;)
you travel, or you take guests, so active life, so cool, many people, much news, many pleasant emotions
and Mom...it's so cool you've such a tradition of living together at least for some months.
great both for you and her, I think.
I know many people who don;t their parents for years. Busy, a lot of work - they say so. Of course, it's not a reason....but it's up to them, and it's great you've warm relationships even now.

You are so right, there is no time to be boring. All the time something is happening. But when I am in Muscat at times it does get boring. Though for the next few months I am going to be very occupied as I have back to back guest visiting me.
I cannot think of not seeing my mom and sisters for long. Once a year I need to meet them and spend time with them that's what brings life to me...hehehehe.....pampered and spoilt in that way :-)
