I've never played Splinterlands, but I did buy a few packs after watching someone's podcast where they trippled their money getting a rare or legendary card and so I thought... I'll have a gamble. Lol, the $30 worth of hive I spent ended up being worth about $12 in cards, which I have put on the market for borrowing cards so hopefully maybe I get my money back eventually.

But that sad tale isn't why I'm here @floki-skarsgaard 😂

Does the poem have to be themed around Splinterlands?

Also, I was wondering if you knew of any real newbie-friendly posts teaching the basics of how to play spinterlands? I'd probably give it a go if it wasn't too complex.

hey! :D first, no it doesn't have to be any particular theme, wanted it to be as open as possible and not limit anyone's creativity :P

secondly, that sad tale might have a happy ending, especially if you are just renting and holding on to them because inevitably when this pack type ends and a new one starts, the value of what you have will go up! :D oh, and one thing to know about your renting, during the last 24 hours of the season prices skyrocket, so you can adjust your rentals at that time and make more, sometimes a lot more! 😁

lastly, I don't know of any newb-friendly posts about it unfortunately, but id be happy to answer questions for ya when necessary, just hit me up on discord about it and ill give ya the basics. I actually enjoy helping new players😂😋
