I agree with you, it's frustrating at times but so gratifying when they "get it".

Yeah completely agree that the traditional school systems destroy the kids and their vibrant personalities in favor of something that is vanilla and conforms. I understand it’s hard to teach a classroom over filled with kids but there’s also better ways to do a lot of the things they do.
We are really trying to work on getting him to recognize letters and numbers. Thankfully it’s a step in the right direction lately but it was a struggle for a bit lol. He did good when we figured out a way for him to like it with toys he loves.

Genius to work with the toys. You know what I do when they don't wanna work?
I take one of their favourite toy or teddy bear, and animate them so they become the teacher. For some reason they go the extra mile for their "friends" hahaha
