Home Education Curation Collection. 13th December 2020

in Home Edders3 years ago

Thank you everyone for your engagement on the posts in the HomeEdders community. It was lovely to see the activity in the community back up. We had several people who commented on more than one post: @cmplxty, @sumatranate, @ryivhnn and @romeskie. @cmplxty and @sumatranate both receive 6 Hive and @ryivhnn and @romeskie receive 3 as a thank you from the community account.

I had hoped to get a challenge out, but with Christmas coming up it's just been too busy and I suspect that goes for many of us. So I'll leave it until after Christmas and instead will be giving out extra Hive next week for interactions in the community as a Christmas celebration.

They've been playing, discovering and learning science at @arrliinn's this week. I wonder if it even felt like a chore when it was that much fun!

When it comes to learning many children grasp concepts better with tangible aids. @lugina has a very visual and physical set up for her son's maths which has allowed him to advance in a positive manner.

After an accident with the Christmas tree, there were some ornaments in need of repair and in true homeschool fashion this became a learning opportunity for @cmplxty and son.

@queenart is back creating her art and this time she shows us her process of creating Krishna with oil pastels.

Whether you're a homeschooler wanting to advance your English or learning English as a second language, don't forget to visit @englishwithnate to get some extra English lessons each week.

Thank you for joining us. This curation was brought to you by @minismallholding and this week I have chosen @arrliinn to be a 10% beneficiary of this post, and have added in another beneficiary for @mattclarke for the ongoing delegation support. Thank you!

Love the little pigs. Can't use sheep, or you'll nod off mid lesson :)

No counting sheep! 😁🐑🐑🐑😴

The sheep will softly sing you a lullaby song..😴😴😴

Very awesome posts this week and a significant amount of activity it was really nice! I loved each of the posts, they all had their own fun and creative way to them. Look forward to seeing what folks come up with next week!

It’s indeed busy with Christmas stuff but perhaps there’s time for post-holiday challenges, no sense in rushing!
