Estoy feliz de unirme a una nueva comunidad "Home Edders" Gracias a los concursos semanales patrocinados por OCD puedo conocer las diferentes comunidades que existen dentro de la plataforma. En esta ocasión la pregunta que se plantea a responder para esta es la siguiente:
Greetings hive, good start to the week everyone! I am happy to join a new community "Home Edders". Thanks to the weekly contests sponsored by OCD I can get to know the different communities that exist within the platform. On this occasion the question to be answered is the following:
(1) ¿Cómo es el costo de vida en su país o región?
Esta pregunta abre una ventana para exponer uno de los problemas que vive nuestro país, Venezuela. Soy estudiante universitario y por eso me siento plenamente capaz de escribir desde el fondo de mi corazón. Me siento totalmente identificado con la lucha incansable que debemos llevar a cabo día a día todos los venezolanos para que nuestros sueños se hagan realidad.
This question opens a window to expose one of the problems that our country is experiencing today, Venezuela, I am a university student and that is why I feel fully capable of writing from the bottom of my heart. I feel totally identified with the tireless struggle that all Venezuelans must carry out every day so that our dreams come true.
La formación académica en Venezuela es difícil, no por el tema universitario ni por la falta de escuelas públicas, creo que en toda Latinoamérica Venezuela sigue ocupando uno de los primeros lugares que ofrece estudios gratuitos, el caso es aún más especial, hay que pensar bien en todas las variables que surgen a la hora de pasar los días estudiando, ¿la situación económica de mi familia me permite estudiar en una universidad pública o privada? Soy foráneo, ¿puedo pagar una residencia? ¿Económicamente puedo comprar los productos básicos para sobrevivir como ser humano? aquí tienes que elegir, ¿estudiar o morir en el intento? ¿estudiar o trabajar? ¿estudiar o emigrar? ¿A qué costo se puede vivir en Venezuela? estas y más preguntas son las que invaden nuestros pensamientos como estudiantes Venezolanos.
Academic training in Venezuela is difficult, not because of the university issue or because of the lack of public schools, I believe that in all of Latin America Venezuela continues to occupy one of the first places that offers free studies, the case is even more special, you have to think carefully In all the variables that arise when spending days studying, does the economic situation of my family allow me to study at a public or private university? I am a foreigner, can I pay for a residency? Can I financially buy the basic products to survive as a human being? here you have to choose, study or die trying? study or work? Study or emigrate? At what cost can you live in Venezuela? These and more questions are what invade our thoughts as Venezuelan students.
Suena cruel pero la disparidad económica, los altos precios y la pequeña cantidad de trabajo que pueden ofrecerle con un salario digno hacen que la vida del estudiante venezolano promedio sea un viaje bastante abrumador, lo que resulta en alarmante deserción universitaria, actualmente esto se agrava porqué también se están incorporando estudiantes de secundaria que son el futuro del país. Para muchos jóvenes de entre 15 y 18 años, su principal objetivo ya no es formarse académicamente, sino salir a trabajar para mantener el hogar, abandonando así la escuela y comenzando su vida laboral a una edad temprana.
It sounds cruel but the economic disparity, high prices and the small amount of work that they can offer you with a living wage make the life of the average Venezuelan student quite an overwhelming journey, resulting in alarming college dropouts, currently this is aggravated because High school students who are the future of the country are also being incorporated. For many young people between the ages of 15 and 18, their main objective is no longer to train academically, but to go out to work to support the home, thus dropping out of school and beginning their working life at an early age.
Lamentablemente, este es el atraso cultural que estamos viviendo debido a un gobierno desastroso, un modelo económico fallido, que se agrava cada día al traer a un país rico en minerales como petróleo, oro, gas natural y la más dulce fuente de agua del planeta a la desgracia, por tener políticos indolentes que cada día nos sumergen más en un callejón del que parece bastante difícil salir.
Unfortunately, this is the cultural backwardness we are experiencing due to a disastrous government, a failed economic model, which is aggravated every day by bringing to a country rich in minerals such as oil, gold, natural gas and the sweetest source of water on the planet. to disgrace, for having indolent politicians who every day plunge us further into an alley from which it seems quite difficult to get out.
Venezuela tiene los índices de desigualdad más altos de América Latina, con uno de los salarios más bajos del mundo, creo que ahora mismo no es el mejor momento para que un joven sin poder adquisitivo tenga éxito, sea ingeniero, médico o abogado, por el hecho de que las condiciones actuales deterioran cada vez más nuestro país. Es difícil salir de casa, o fingir que sí y no tener suficiente dinero para poder pagar un billete de transporte público, para poder comprar algo de comer en el camino, peor aún no tener suficiente dinero para comprar útiles básicos como un cuaderno, un libro de la asignatura o un lápiz, cada vez es más difícil terminar una carrera universitaria. Sin embargo, muchos de nosotros nos mantenemos firmes en los sueños y, a pesar de la adversidad, la fe y la perseverancia nos acompañan.
Venezuela has the highest inequality rates in Latin America, with one of the lowest salaries in the world, I believe that right now is not the best time for a young person without purchasing power to be successful, whether he is an engineer, a doctor or a lawyer, for the fact that current conditions deteriorate our country more and more. It is difficult to leave home, or to pretend that you are and not have enough money to be able to pay a public transport ticket, to be able to buy something to eat on the way, worse still not to have enough money to buy basic supplies such as a notebook, a book of the subject or a pencil, it is increasingly difficult to finish a university degree. However, many of us stand firm in dreams and, despite adversity, faith and perseverance accompany us.
En definitiva, todo lo que he dicho hace que la vida de un adolescente venezolano a punto de iniciar una carrera universitaria dude en aprovechar la oportunidad. Habló con mucha responsabilidad y lo hago porque yo también he vivido esta historia. Espero que de alguna manera pueda tener una idea del impacto cultural que afecta a una sociedad económicamente dañada en algo tan importante como lo és el estudió, donde el venezolano tiene que emigrar para tal vez, materializar sus mayores sueños, en tierras extranjeras y no en el que nacieron, con sus padres, con sus abuelos o sus hermanos. Entonces sí, vivir o no en Venezuela es igualmente costoso, cuesta los sueños o cuesta el amor de la familia.
In short, everything I have said makes the life of a Venezuelan teenager about to start a university career hesitate to take advantage of the opportunity. He spoke with great responsibility and I do so because I have also lived this story. I hope that in some way you can have an idea of the cultural impact that affects an economically affected society in something as important as studying in a country, where the Venezuelan has to emigrate to perhaps materialize their greatest dreams, in foreign lands and not in the one that they were born, with their parents, with their grandparents or their siblings. So yes, living in Venezuela or not is equally expensive, it costs dreams or it costs family love.
Sé que en Venezuela habrá cambios de un momento para otro, donde las oportunidades abundarán en millones, tenemos la capacidad humana y la fuerza para ser una vez más el país de las grandes oportunidades que siempre fuimos y que nunca debimos dejar de ser.

I know that in Venezuela there will be changes from one moment to the next, where opportunities will abound in millions, we have the human capacity and strength to be once again the country of great opportunities that we always were and that we should never have ceased to be.
