Then, of course, Bangladesh will be your first choice. Yes, I live in this small but prosperous country in Southeast Asia.

We have many political and economic problems in this developing country. Almost every country has these problems. Right?
But despite these problems, people have learned to work hard and survive. We find happiness amid the country's scarce resources.

In today's article, I will highlight the way of life of my country's people, the cost of living, the difference between our way of life with other countries. Since it is my country, I will highlight the positive aspects. But I will not segregate. I will also mention some negative aspects.

The life of the people of Bangladesh

Independent Bangladesh was born on December 16 1971 after winning the war with Pakistan. Since then, Bangladesh's rise has begun. Former US Secretary of State Henry Kissinger said in 1972 that Bangladesh would be a 'bottomless basket.' But proving that idea wrong, Bangladesh has now become a developing country.

Our country is an agricultural country. So the villages here are green and green. Bangladesh is world-renowned for its garment industry, so many of its employees work in the garment industry. Bangladesh has also gained a reputation for freelancing this decade. The youth of Bangladesh are bringing remittances from abroad by working online.

I said at the beginning that the people of Bangladesh are happy because everyone is in harmony here. In many countries, parents are separated from their children after a certain period. That is why old homes are more common in those countries. But the number of joint families is more in our country. Most of the families here live together; no one is separated from anyone. Whatever the moments, happy or sad, everyone gets next to each other. It can be seen that even though the son is 40 years old, he is still living with his parents. Because family bonding is strong here, no one wants to be separate from anyone unless there are too many problems.

We are a festive nation. Many programs, including Eid of Muslims, Puja of Hindus, Pahela Boishakh, Falgun, Nabanna, are celebrated by the whole nation together. And at that time all the places become festive. For example, after some days (April 14) our festival "Pahela Boishakh" is coming. At this time, the whole country will be colorful - people will come out with bright clothes and banners, festoons, eat traditional food.

Not to mention that, Bangladesh is a riverine country. Rivers surround our country - and we like to eat a lots of fishes. That is why we are called "Bengali with fish and rice." The fish of our country is also exported to foreign countries.

Housing

Housing costs here are relatively low compared to other countries. A big reason for this is that the average income of our country's people is less than the people of developed countries. Most people have their own homes, some in the villages, some have houses in the cities. So most people don't have to worry about staying.

Home rents in the city are relatively high. That, of course, depends on the location. For example, in the town where I live, a 3-bed house is available for a minimum of $100 per month only. However, depending on the location, it could be more.

Bangladesh is moving fast in terms of housing. As the population of Bangladesh increases in size and more people moves to cities for jobs, more houses are needed to live. This problem would not have happened if our country's villages had been developed at the same time.

Transportation

If anyone asks me, which thing in Bangladesh is the best? I would say transportation. I am saying this in terms of availability. For example, in Europe and America, if you do not have your own car, most of the time you have to spend a lot of money on transportation. But here in front of the house, you can get anything like a traditional rickshaw or taxi or Uber. And the transportation cost is surprisingly cheap.

I'm not saying that public transportation is much better here, but much cheaper. You can get from one place in the city to another for just a few cents. Besides, the work of Metro Rail has started in the capital Dhaka. So it can be said that the country is also moving ahead in the transportation sector.

Food

Bangladesh is a paradise for food lovers. I can challenge anyone that there is no other food destination in the world with such a low price and variety. This is probably why all the famous food bloggers travel to Bangladesh at least once to eat delicious food. As for the sustenance of old Dhaka, biryani is available here for only 1 dollar. Besides, there are restaurants and street foods everywhere which have made the people of Bangladesh more food-loving.

For tasty food - India, Pakistan, and Bangladesh's reputation is all over the world. However, it seems that Bangladesh is crossing India and Pakistan in terms of diverse food and taste. And I said at the beginning, Bangladesh is a riverine country, and we have the sea. So we eat a lot of fresh fish here, and as usual, the price is low.

Bangladesh has not yet gone to the list as a developed country. There are many problems in this country. But we have learned to move forward by overcoming all difficulties.

The people of this country are friendly. You will not find anyone who had a bad experience in Bangladesh while visiting. In many countries, it is not possible to find one in need of another. But our country's general people are ready to help people even before they need any assistant. So amid many adversities, I find peace in being in this country.
