It's been a little bit. I'm usually hard at work on Splinterlands stuff these days. There's a lot of projects going around there and we're working on getting multiple things off the ground all at once. I'm swamped...
That said, I'm pleased to announce defidojo.dev. It's a way for users to create their own collectibles and sell them. I've heard about a recent project or two that's done well on Hive by using hive-engine NFTs. I don't believe other project codes are opensource, but good news for you guys- This is opensource. My focus with all the projects I work on is to ensure the users can make money. I figure if I can help you make money then I'll make money too.
What is Defidojo.dev?
Defidojo is a demonstration project of hive-engine.com and tribaldex.com. Defidojo uses the packmanager contract to create packs of cards that can then be purchased, opened, and the NFTs inside of them can be traded. The packmanager contract itself is opensource. The defidojo source code for the front end of the website is opensource as well. You can now use both to get your collections in order, weight them for how they'll open up, and then turn them into packs which can be traded or opened, and once opened the NFTs can be traded on the market.
As part of the demonstration I've put up 50,000 Defidojo packs for sale at $2/pack. No more packs will be available for this series. Once these are sold out, that's it.
There are 4 teams: Android, Bruiser, Mystic, and Ninjas. There are two foil types regular and gold. There are four rarities common, rare, epic, and legendary.
If you'd like to make your own collection of cards for sale as packs inside a site like defidojo.dev and have the hive-engine team support the site, hand hold you through the process, and upload all of this stuff there is a fee. You guessed it: 1000 BEE.
Hopefully, you'll get your card collections ready, launch your packs, sell your packs, and grow your projects for years to come. Hopefully by having this part of the project already built out for you then you can focus more on the games or other parts of what you're doing than simply the earliest stuff of even getting a site like this off the ground.
Use of Proceeds: These go to hive-engine. I don't take a salary out of hive-engine. So, no, I'm not getting any money out of the sale of these packs. I will pay elgecko some money for the packs that sell as he helped create the art. For those of you who recognize some of the art it's from artbreeder and it's all be enhanced or modified by elgecko. The money raised will likely go into hive:hbd pools on Hive engine or maybe some of the funds will be used for additional smart contracts we plan to launch. I'm thinking algorithmic stable coins that anyone can create are high on my list of things to code, but you should assume these funds will create bigger pools on tribaldex.com to facilitate more trading. As it stands tribaldex has traded around 500M worth of Hive. It's a good start, but moar is better!
So, what just happened here?
Uncle Aggy got another opensourced smart contract and website up and running for you to use. You can make your own collectible and sell it on your own front end. If you don't get how powerful that is then you don't understand crypto. If you want to make your own stuff it's 100 BEE burn for the NFT and a small fee for issuance. if you want us to host a website it's free, and if you want our help setting all this up it's 1000 BEE. Hopefully you'll be able to earn several orders of magnitude more than that.
If you don't like the project please don't buy cards or use the site. this is all voluntary, so if you don't like me or the projects I help create kindly just don't use those things.
If you do like defidojo.dev, hive-engine, tribaldex, or any of the other projects I've helped create like palnet, msp-waves, splinterlands, keychain, and some others I bet I'm forgetting please buy packs, trade on the site, fight on splinterlands, join the communities I've built, and vote my witness.
Have fun, and good luck there out there.
Aggy
I tried to buy 10 packs about 10 hours ago using Hive Keychain and it sent it through, never got the packs or cards. @aggroed
The transactions are just taking a while check here: https://hiveblockexplorer.com/@defidojo
I bought mine yesterday. Just checked 24hrs later and it was finally there. Not sure how long it took. But it opened fine and the cards are in my collection now.
Mine have arrived now
Bought a couple of packs yesterday. Using keychain its build in browser on Android. Received nothing yet.

Okay, will have a little more patience. :-)

When paying with Hive, does this come from your Hive wallet on-chain, or your SWAP.HIVE on Hive-Engine? Thanks.
It came from swap.hive on swap engine in my case.
I had to wait a day for them to show on defidojo.dev but then they did show up!
Thanks. I tried to buy 2 packs now with funds in my swap.hive to cover, but got this:
"There was an error broadcasting this transaction: : decimals == 3: Incorrect decimal places"
Did you come across this by any chance?
I did not get that error, but try tomorrow and see if it works.
Other than that, usually it's good to try and contact someone on Discord but I don't see a channel on either PAL or Splinterlands discord servers for DefiDojo. Maybe it has its own discord? I guess you can ask in the Splinterlands general channel. Good luck and best wishes!
Very good Job Aggroed!
Some questions, would it be possible to mint some art NFTs with that? Like the hive punks or NFts on opensea?
As packs? I'm not sure if that's the right way to handle such a collection.
no, but to randomize the NFT you get from a collection. Packs are not the best solution for it.
Maybe packs of one, might work?
Cheap, nice, I'll check it out right now!
I love it that I can spend PayPal Money on these. Same as on that Farmers Farm back then. Bought a bunch, enjoy the Coffee!
Does anyone want to trade? :p I'd trade my common Gold Foil for a normal Epic.
Open Source, <3

Thanks, uncle Aggy! Where I can find sources of this? I think about my own nft project and it will be cool to start it not from scratch
awesome work :)
Awesome
Uncle Aggy does it again. People vote for @aggroed for witness, he does a lot of good things for the Hive community and we need him to be back in the top 20.
looks cool. I'll certainly be checking it out. Thanks for another awesome application
just bought a pack but its taking quiiiite a while to turn up. Like 20 mins and I still cant see it.... I paid with HBD, which is definitely gone from my wallet.
just tried a hard reload and cleared the cache but still nothing
it was there a day later, not sure how long it took, but the pack opened fine and the cards are in my collection : )
Wow @aggroed
Kind of new to crypto and NFT's but even i can see how this could be good for communities on Hive.
Great job mate very clean
Have the best day
This is awesome, I had an NFT project in my head for a while but it seemed totally out of reach until this came along. Would it be possible to add beneficiaries to market sales in the 1000 BEE price, or would we need to up the 1000 BEE price?
Nice work uncle
Thank You Uncle AGGY
I Used SPS
to Buy
FIVE PACKS
and I Will Let Them Marinate.........
Packs usually become More Valuable in Time if You Don't Open Them............
Just in time! I was about to true some random programmers off a discord NFT group, to make my smart contracts. But now I can just use this! Problem solved!
Seems great especially if someone wants to develop projects on HIVE.
I will see what I can buy because I bought both in @farmfarmer & @mythical But not sure where that progress went. May be some of projects are already using that smart contract.

This is so good! Checking out the card packs from my phone and will look into getting some. Thanks
So who do we reach out to for support and get Uncle Aggy to run everything for 1000 BEE?
I have a small project in mind. I'd like to make reward packs for my guild. One card, 4 variations (one for each level). I'd like them to mine something or pay out a dividend (otherwise what's the point?). I'm also curious if the final level can be randomized, so it's the same pattern but no way to gaurantee the colorscheme (only for the final (max version).
I saw this quite late, FOMO hit in instantly! But I saw that there is still a lot of those packs. Will the defidojo cards be used for a game? Or will they be stakeable for later purposes? got myself a pack :) I love the idea and I love the setup offer as well and at some point I will go there and create my own collection :)
Your level lowered and you are now a Dolphin!
