I remember my first post on Steem was some YouTube video i uploaded about Bancor token. An account called @cheetah gave me a verbal warning and I was mortified. There definitely needs to be some sort of hand holding for newbies. Also i remember a crypto influencer joined a few years ago and she was chased with out of town with pitch forks from some of the Hive whales and it was a big deal at the time . The worry is they will take a good portion of the reward pool but surely the price would benefit.

There's too many welcome bots I think, we need more regular people checking those things out, it's a reason I created additional filters here: https://scrobble.life/discover for instance the "new author" one more people ought to check out from time to time.
