It's been a while since we started working on a decentralised podcast platform powered by Hive Blockchain, since then things have changed a little bit and those changes helped us move faster.
Initially, Aureal was supposed to be an all-in-one podcasting platform where you could record, edit, create, distribute and monetise podcasts using Hive Blockchain. But there are few roadblocks there too. We pivoted!
We are just 2 developers which are working on creating a podcast platform which directly connects podcasters & listeners with Hive Blockchain.
Introducing Aureal
Aureal is a decentralised podcast platform built on Hive Blockchain that gives access to any creator in just 3 simple steps.

We've seen multiple podcast platforms, with a little change in our approach gave us the access to the entire market of podcasters and their listeners and hence will act as a catalyst to make the hive community stronger.

- You can simply connect your podcasts and you are set, listeners can simply download the app and consume the spectacular content on Aureal.

yeah imagine when we get telegram integration for hive so you can just push a button record Audio, AND IF ITS at LEAST 10 mins long or whatever you set, it uploads as an automated post to your HIVE blog ahhhh
like @inertia said, your hive can be seen as his FIREHOSE analogy... dont nit pick a fire house, some peopel may just want to post a 10 second dictation of an idea and the bot will do voice recognition and use that as the title and the body will be the rest of the text. peopel will learn to start podcasts with a good title spoken out lol
and everyone upvotes them later so it will be the ultimate dictation machine
speak your thoughts into telegram, have @tipitbot withdraw with your voice message link toa bot that downloads the audio, transcribes to text and posts both and a DTUBE video of your audio, to your hive blog under #podcasts and #aureal
Whats the added value compare to 3speak?
3Speak is doing a wonderful job, trust me, we had to learn a lot from them :), With a limited knowledge that I have about podcasters, I believe it is a little difficult for them to shift platforms because of few technicalities and it's better to make their Transition to Hive easier. Ofcourse when the video podcasts arrive, you'll be able to consume the same content on 3Speak too, we'll love to make that happen :)

Same situation today--neither the app nor the website will respond during podcast upload attempts, it appears.
