I am so glad to be in the party to experience the joy that radiated from the winners. They have worked hard and thank God they were encouraged with rewards to do more. Just wanted to swing by and say thanks for the generous tip on my Hive post Plagiarism, Pitchforks, & Witch-Hunts... Hive-Style. Although I feel it was an extremely well-written piece of fiction (that singled out no one), my post seems to have gotten a massive downvote by an account called 'Newsflash.' Strange to me, but to each their own. Anyway, just wanted to say thanks for counter-acting their bizarre behavior with your uplifting tip. @corporateay wrote an interesting piece for last week's POB-WOTW called Why keep Malice? which questioned the rationale for malice in certain situations when it appears to achieve little and all ends up in reconciliation in any event. @wrestlingdesires is an incredible writer and I am following his contribution to The Tale of Two Pizzas and POB-WOTW with much enthusiasm. What I didn't know is that he is writing his own series and only discovered this through his entry to WOTW last week Malice Comes in Many Forms. I highly recommend giving this a read. I asked for a link to the rest of series that has been written so far and he kindly obliged. I also asked a question on the fate of one of the characters, and he left me cleverly with the answer that if I read the rest of his story so far, the answers will be found... It is bedtime reading for me tonight! :-) Upvoted ❓

I have only upvoted one of them as I wanted it to be top of the pile as, although it was succinct, I felt it gave an insightful and balanced view of addiction. 🔺

I would have loved to have had these opportunities when I started Uni 30 years ago. this is forward-thinking dynamics, forward-thinking teaching. @lavender22 wrote a very thoughtful and considered answer to their fellow classmate's question on societal ignorance. I think it's fabulous that @trostparadox is using the platform for the development of his students by getting them to post their weekly assignments to the Hive and I have been enjoying reading some of the Q&A's this evening. I will try to visit their posts a few times a week to engage and upvote and bring a couple over to comet.ranker for exposure. I have upvoted @lavender22 's post and commented ❗
@samsmith197154, thanks for the mention and for the engagement with my students. My hope is that a majority of them will see the value in participating on Hive beyond just satisfying their class requirements. Time will tell.
I am actually teaching two different classes this semester. The one you are referring to is Entrepreneurial Value Creation in Society. In that class, students are required to submit their 3 weekly assignments via Hive: 3 questions about the week's topic are due Monday at midnight, a thoughtful response to another student's question is due Tuesday at midnight, and a thoughtful reflection paper on the week's reading assignment is due either Wednesday or Thursday at midnight (depends on the week).
The other class is Blockchain-Based Entrepreneurial Venturing, which is a brand-new experimental class with only a handful of students. In that class, each student is tasked with exploring a semester project that will "add value to society" via the Hive blockchain. A few students have chosen to work on a project we are calling Proof of Blind. You can find details about that project at the following links:

@scholaris has very capably been holding the reins to POB-WOTW for a good few weeks now, during @calumam 's hiatus. He has added his own spin and taking it in new directions and we are all grateful for his continued involvement to drive forward and promote creativity and engagement in Proof of Brain on the Hive, challenging us each and every week to become better writers and curators.
