Hello Hive Fam!
First of all, I just want to thank the witnesses that have been working hard to get Hive listed on exchanges. To already be available on bittrex is quite an accomplishment!
I logged into Bittrex just now to check out the price of Hive ... and was pleasantly surprised to see us featured as the FIRST thing people when they log in as a token with the highest percentage gain today! Considering the volume of activity on this exchange, it really is great exposure for Hive.
So how much is hive worth? At the time of writing this post... 0.00003520 Bitcoin ... which is about $.23 USD. This is really exciting, especially considering that Steem is at about $.17. That means we are looking at a 35% premium over Steem. Of course, a lot remains to be seen as all of this shakes out - but I think the fact that we are starting strong out of the gate is a promising sign.
Thought I would share this fun little tidbit with you guys! I would love to hear from you in the comments below as to what your thoughts are on the current price of Hive and where it is going. there are good reasons why hive should perform better than steem. It has a better story to tell (exodus from the centralized thread into the glory land of decentralization), it has a considerably lower number of tokens (due to the fork out) and it has good momentum in a time when a lot of people have time to try new things online. I am very positive for the future if this chain.
