Hive needs to get out of this slide

With Bitcoin topped out, likely, Hive is a great place to put your coins.

Ever since HIVE launched on Bitget it has been in this downward slide.

I have already complained that Hive should be worth a lot more.

So as Bitcoin crashes, users continue to sell Hive down vs BTC and it drops with it.

Hive has lost it's Bitcoin value this year, falling from 676 sats to barely 149 sats today.

In April of 2020 we boasted a proud 12,576 satoshi HIVE. How quickly that fell to below 1227 sats,

It was in the second half of 2023 that fodled the price below 1000 sats. Lack of support ^

What can Hive users do to support the price of HIVE? Buy more and tell a friend about Hive blog.

50,000 HP will cost around 8,684 HBD at this level, but how long will HIVE stay below $1?

HIVE was $2.87 USD with a market cap of $145,871,235 on November 29th 2021.

Hive fell from 0.21 USD in early September down to 0.175 UST today, with a cap of $84,615,647

If the price can recover and break above 0.26 USD then HIVE might have higher values ahead.

Lets speculate on these questions--

How much Hive will be created between October and December 2025?
How much Hive will be powered up between October and December 2025?

What will the price of Hive be in January 2026? Will it be higher or lower than 0.17?

Can 20,000 users power up at least 100 HIVE this fall? Would that support the price?
If 20,000 users power up 100 HIVE, that's 2,000,000 Hive collectively.

Approximately 38% of the 491,349,812 HIVE circulating, is liquid. That leaves 186,712,928 HIVE out there, and how much of that might be lost? How much is that really? Hive is more scarce than it seems, and although the supply could double over the next decade, less will be available over time as Hive users lose their keys or pass away. Combining the population of Canada and Brazil gets you 186 million. Only the Liquid Hive for everyone in Brazil and Canada, or The entire population of Nigeria, to have 1 Hive. I think one barrier that remains is new account creation options.

I hear all the time that it is still hard to use or get into Hive. The barrier for entry is high, its true.

What is the Hive timeline for users like? If you make it past the first week, you start earning rewards. If you Power Up, your account grows in power and you can do more daily activities. If you compose daily proof-of-brain posts and leave helpful comments for users, you will start to see progress. If you make it past the first month you will start to see numbers change but you will also have read enough posts to make sense of what is possible. Stay for a year, you'll be here forever. Keep coming back and you'll wonder what you are doing wasting your time on web2 when our legacy is the future.

Hive has nowhere to go but up. And if you are reading this, you are part of the story.

At 0.05 50,000 HP would be just 2830 HBD. That would be rock bottom prices, even 0.10 would be a crazy sale, 5000 HBD for 50,000 HP? Power that up why don't ya. And right now? At 0.173 HBD, 50,000 HP would be about 8692.35 HBD.

Stop selling your Hive for so little BTC. My swap orders are high, 1.139 HBD per Hive. I need to raise them actually, 0.00000960 Sats is not enough. 1000 Sats is 1.186 HBD,

Thankfully there is still a long way to go, but support higher prices.

If you power up 10 Hive per month youll have 120 HP in a year. if you power up 111 per month youll have 1,332 HIVE POWER. After that it's sunny sailing as you compose your blog from 1000-9000 HP.

After 8 years or so you will start to think of every moment spent writing as a special place in space and time. You'll put your thoughts down and edit and compose your posts with new care and appreciation for the flow and effort you spend. What makes Hive valuable, is all the work we put into it over time. I think often of all the old websites I built, composing HTML and updating it weekly, to keep it fresh and evolving. Hive is the new web3 index layer, and it already works.
