I heard a knock on my gate earlier in the morning and it was from my regular vegetable street vendor whom i call Boy Talong. He always brings me the best produce everyday. He had this time my favorite eggplant but the size is not what i usually get. It is smaller !
I then started to worry because im planning to make lots of eggplant omelet. How could i make one with this size. Besides i dont know how it tastes.
It is just now that ive seen an eggplant whose just an.inch longer than my palm
But i was assured by Boy Talong that i should not be deceived by the size of the eggplant because this small eggplants taste much sweeter than the long ones. He advised me that baby eggplants are perfect for salad partnered with fried fish.
I was surprised how it tastes. Really good and sweet. Perfect for salad with tomatoes & onions. And is the perfect side dish for your fried fish. I then realized that size doesnt matter. Sometimes big things await you coming from small packages !

Dami ko tawa kuya! Hahahaha! Size matters of course! Dapat sulit ang paysung natin! Well I believe in that saying that small packages have a lot in store for sure. Malay natin, makatas ang talong na mabili natin at sariwa pa. Bagong pitas.
