Hivefest 2025 is here and it's actually on its second day. I have seen a lot of people posting about it, and some people are actually there which is amazing. Even though i couldn't attend like in every Hivefest i tend to watch the live YouTube videos. As a matter of fact i didn't even have the time to do that, i will start watching after i publish this post.
In case you aren't going to be there and had no clue that you can actually watch everything via YouTube, below you can find the relevant link:

Now this post will be a little bit different but don't get me wrong, i am just curious, there is no ill intent. To begin with i believe that Hivefest is an amazing opportunity and event in the sense that not only people from all over the world who interacted on Hive get to meet and see each other, but it's an opportunity for a lot of creators to share their new projects, updates on their existing projects and in general share more info about their work and impact.
What i would like to know though, that may already exist, is the attendance in terms of numbers over the years. I would like to understand if more people are interested or fewer. At the same time, i would like to know and see how most the projects ended and what state they are currently.
I remember watching these streams and discovering new and exciting projects but after some months, i saw no activity at all or limited activity in terms of Hive. Possibly something happened along the way but we don't really know what was the main reason.
I believe events like these should unite Hiveians and i know this is the intent as well. I would be interested in watching some more diverse effort in attracting new people and project creators, instead of only focusing on some individual projects, especially the ones that are focused only on people who are in Hive (who are not that much), instead of targeting and helping them target the majority out there.
I really would like, after this Hivefest takes place, to see Hive booming!
