Hi Hivers.

This is not an Introductory post.

This is a Reintroduction.

Good day to you, my dear reader reading this. It's been 3 years since I was last here, and a quick look around shows me that although a lot has changed, a lot is still the same.

Upon deciding to come back to Hive, I searched all over the place on all my devices, looking for my private keys so I could, once again, access my account. Fortunately, after much scouring, I was able to find it, but after logging in, I noticed it took me a bit of time to reorient myself with the platform. And that's when I realized—if I had to refamiliarize myself with the platform, then it would only be right for me to refamiliarize you all with me.

On that note, let's get started.

To begin with, my name is Dr. Harry-Ehighibe Chibuike P.—in my first introduction post, I only gave one name—and I am (now) a Dentist/Dental Surgeon. When I was active here 3 years ago, I was still a Dental Student, but by the grace of God through my hard work and good fortune, I graduated last year, 2024, as a Dentist/Dental Surgeon, earning the title of Doctor (Dr.) and the degree of Bachelor of Dental Surgery from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka (BDS Nig.)

Signing the Oath

While that is the most major change that has happened in my life, it is not the only one.

I have changed cities. While in school, I resided in Enugu city for a long while, but shuttled from there to a place called Ituku ozalla where our University Teaching Hospital was located. After graduation, I moved to the capital city of Abuja where my family resides, and stayed there for a period of about 6 months, after which I moved again to where I am right now.

Where am I right now? Don't wonder too much. I am currently in the city of Calabar which is the capital city of Cross River State in Nigeria. "Why are you there?" you may ask. I'm here for my 1 year Housemanship (Internship) program—I've done 3 months of the program now, so I have 9 months left—that is compulsory for all doctors in Nigeria. The story of how I got to be doing it in Calabar, is a long one, and will have to be another post.

My hobbies haven't really changed. I still love anime, with One Piece still taking my top spot. I still love music, reading, and most importantly thinking. I don't trade crypto anymore nowadays—although I do intend to get back into it eventually—I now trade Forex currency pairs. However, I'm still on the journey to profitability, and I hope to reach it soon. Another thing I've been intending to get back into is chess.

I'm still a Christian, even though my perspective of my Faith has shifted quite a bit over the years. I've also retuned to the gym to try to build and tone my muscles. In my free time, you'd usually find me on X (formerly Twitter), Instagram or Whatsapp, although I do intend to start cutting down my social media use. I also love to cook my own food.

All in all, like i said for the platform, I'll say same for me—a lot has changed, a lot is still the same.

I hope to, and intend to, start posting on Hive. I have been looking for a space to get my thoughts out there, and I totally forgot that i already had one.

SO. This is my reintroduction. It's nice to be back, and I hope to be around for a long time.
Btw here's a link to my first introductory post.
