RE: About

in #hive2 years ago (edited)

This is not a complaint or anything, just would like to be informed :)

I see, nowhere, any restriction other than once a day.
Some of my community members, me included do not receive the hbits when they use the !hivebits.

Any reason you want to share so we can inform our users?

We know it's blocked, we tested several days in a row. We just don't know why, as our users followed the rules.

Sort:

!hivebits

didn't get the 0.1 either, see ... :)
(tu as eu tes 0.9 toi nopa??)

non

As-tu plusieurs comptes ou pas?
Have multiaccounts or not for yourself?

Hi, I understand you'd like to know what's going on. The short answer is, yes, you're currently blocked. As to why, there was a recent rash of misuse. The rule is one per day per person (the bot only allows for that). There must have been a reason that your username popped up, but I (@crrdlx) really don't recall specifically.

It's possible your usernames were included in the mix, rightly or wrongly. Could you list your community members here. I could give a double check and we could go from there.

I did not know the one per person... I guess you probably do not mean one per ACCOUNT, but one per IP. I know the problem then...
But, in many cases nowadays thinking that IP = 1 account is not more correct. Many forget about IP sharing, buildings or simply families, colleagues in offices , elders residencies and more.

No need to change anything for me, but several members are one person only in their vicinity so should not be in the list, and the list of people in my community = list of people in @hive-143869 cannot list them all.

Thank you for your answer.

And to all devs : It's 2020+, several people per IP is common now (dad, son, wife, etc...) . IP address is not KYC :)

!PIZZA

Hi again. Yes, it's one HBIT per person, not one per account or username. No, it has nothing to do with IP addresses or shared wifi or whatever. We just try to connect the dots. We had a rash of abuse recently and you may have simply been in the wrong place at the wrong time.

I have unblocked you from HBIT and LUV, feel free to use either. :)

Bear in mind the reply for LUV is currently off (to recharge Resource Credits) so don't be discouraged if it appears that nothing happened. Just check your wallet or other tools listed on the About page or at https://he.dtools.dev/@itharagaian Also, realize that HBIT replies come-and-go as RCs allow it.

!LUV !HBIT

Thank you will tell my wife @florenceboens that she might have been impacted as i was obviously blocked on LUV too...

RC issue yeah I noticed that no problem.

@florenceboens wasn't blocked. Should work fine.

Hivebits blends Hive's blockchain and Bitcoin's ethos. Your effort = your reward. Mine HBIT simply with ! hivebits (no space) or ! HBIT (no space), 1-per-day. Success! You mined .9 HBIT and the user you replied to received .1 HBIT on your behalf. You can receive 100% of the HBIT by replying to one of your own posts or comments. Or, support Hivebits at the official HBIT mine | your wallet | market | tools | connect | <><

Confirmation replies are currently on, but they'll go off when Resource Credits (RCs) get low. Your hivebits command will still go through and you'll get your HBIT.
