@hivebuzz just sent me a reminder that today marks 4 years on Hive! Well, technically, it was four years ago when I joined Steemit, but the less said about that dumpster fire, the better.
Looking back over the years, I have met a lot of cool people here. Some have since vanished. The anonymity of the internet makes it hard to learn what happened. Did they die, or become disheartened by Steem stagnation before Hive could be born?
A huge thank you to everyone else on this cryptoblogging roller coaster, past present, and future. We are pioneers of the digital frontier. We are building something new. There will be challenges, but it's all worthwhile. And the tokens are a nice bonus!
