If there is one thing I've learned from the latest dumping of the HIVE and HBD tokens: It is to have some reserve and ready-to-use $$$ to buy more HIVE tokens! XD
When I first stumbled upon this blockchain thingy (and by extension the Steem platform), I made it a personal goal of mine to grow my account (and earn some profit) without investing any personal money of mine. Fortunately I was able to grow my account although the growth is painfully slow. And after 2+ years I was able to grow my account to a decent level (by my poor standards).
The only use-case of my monthly cash-outs is to help me pay for my monthly internet bills and to buy some online skins and subscribe in some games I play. XD
Anyways, last month with the whole Steem/Tron fiasco, I was able to get some sweet extra tokens and thus was able to convert more than the usual to BTC to which I just hodl.
And hours ago, the CMA app notified me that the HIVE token is under $0.11 and so I immediately used my reserve $$$ to buy more HIVE as I saw an opportunity.
I don't have a Bittrex or other exchange account since I don't really like KYC so I just bought HIVE through Blocktrades.
Again, it's not much but not a bad amount too. XD
Also burned some of my SteemMonster cards (I probably burned like ~50 Epics T_T) and sold ALL my DEC to get another 170 HIVE which is still in Steem-Engine.
(What a good day to buy HIVE tokens! XD)
It's probably pretty selfish on my part, but I wish that it would stay around $0.11 at least until Thursday or more specifically my next powerdown. With the same price, I could get another 350+ HIVE. XD
As what I would do with my liquid HIVE, I probably won't power-up ALL of it. Just as I said, one thing I've learned from this dump is to have some reserve $$$ to buy when your favourite token is in the low.

I feel you there. I just drop by to steem-engine to check price of DEC when I noticed that the price of HIVE went down and guess what? I immediately rushed outside and cashed in $10, so sad that it was the only extra amount that I have due to this lockdown we're experiencing. I was able to get 78 HIVE and is hoping that I can roll this over until it grows bigger and bigger.
