Great post and thanks for the shout-out. This is a great initiative!
You can really call this blockchain whatever you want depending on your view, be it libertarian, democracy, anarchy, socialism, or even (dare I say)communism, so long as the participation is voluntary. You can probably identify all sorts of governance models at play here. There's things that work when individuals come together voluntarily that just don't when imposed by a centralized or authoritarian governance.
What's important to me in this ecosystem, is that we just became a whole lot less authoritarian. That's the one governance model I flat out refuse to participate in.
