`Being a nurse in Nigeria comes with both struggles and moments of deep fulfillment. In this second part of my story, I want to highlight the little wins, the smiles from patients, the strength we find in tough conditions, and the passion that keeps us going. Every day brings a new challenge, yet we show up—sometimes without the tools we need, but never without heart. Nurses here often play multiple roles beyond what our training covers: caregiver, cleaner, counselor, even security. It's exhausting, but also humbling. Despite the limited pay, the system's flaws, and long hours, there's joy when a patient recovers or a mother safely delivers her baby. It reminds me why I chose this path.
