Six reason I think that HIVE is already a success.

Hello everyone,

let's face it clearly: usually when you get used to something it is difficult to start again elsewhere.

But in this case it wasn't that difficult, though. That's because there's been some sort of continuity between STEEM and HIVE.
For that I have to thank everyone involved in the development once again, since they decided leave things similar compared to the way it used to be (at least in this first stage).

But the thing that really amazed me was the start of this new Blockchain which I would call a great success!

Without dragging it on, that's just what I've been meaning to talk to you in this post.

SIX REASON WHY I VENTURE TO SAY THAT HIVE IS ALREADY A SUCCESS!

1 - DEVELOPMENT OF HIVE ECOSYSTEM.

A Blockchain focused on "Social Network" aspect has no value without people who use it and without Dapps who can attract them.
Maybe this was the biggest challenge that HIVE had to face up to after the Steem fork.
A challange won before we've even started: the steem community (or at least the the most alive part) has moved compactly towards HIVE.

You tried to take a ride on the Steemit pages these days? Contents get worse in terms of quality and spam is rampant on that blockchain.
Can you imagine what will happen when Downvote will be removed (as the people who stayed are calling for)?

After five days since launch, some Dapps are moving towards HIVE as well as the following picture shows:

2 - BLOCKCHAIN ACTIVITY ON STEEM IS DOWN.

We all know that an image is worth 1,000 words:

If we look at Blockchain Activity, STEEM was among the first positions until the time of the HF.
But now it has fallen into 17° position and I think that it will start going downhill from there, especially since much of Activity will presumably move to HIVE.

3 - HIVE LISTED ON MANY EXCHANGE

HIVE has been listes on 4 exchange in just five days of activity: BIttrex is between them.
In addition to this, will arrive in the coming days also Binance; rest assured that others exchange will follow.

The reason is simple: people are watching very closely what's happening here and large volumes of money are expected in the weeks to come.

Furthermore, HIVE enjoys a good reputation in the "crypto space" and is highly respected for what it represents. This has been thanks to the efforts of many Devs working on it around the clock and to the very close Community.

4 - HIVE TRADES FOR 20% PREMIUM OVER STEEM

Though HIVE is still in the early stages, it is important to underline that HIVE trades for 20% premium over STEEM.
Hive is quoted at around $0.21, STEEM at around $0.175

At this stage, however, it is impossible to determine what the future of the prices, but what we know so far that STEEM's big stakeholders have already announced that will sell STEEM to buy HIVE.
On the other hand, many investors (I believe including Sun) bought tons of STEEM during the days leading up to the Hard Fork to be eligible for the Airdrop: they're the one that might sell massively HIVE for a profit, lowering the quotes, indeed.

It will take weeks to understand how markets will react to the HF, at least the time necessary to the complete powerdown.

5 - SPOTLIGHT ON HIVE

The birth of HIVE was a historic moment for a blockchain based on DPos (delegated proof of stake) consensus mechanism.

DPos vulnerabilities have been identified in The "sybil attack" carried out by Justin Sun and its sock-puppet witnesses, but the response has been remarkable: the Hard Fork has brought back on the center of attention the key role played by the community and showed that DPos consensus can actually work and it is defensible against external attacks.

Big names attention was attracted to the situation: Dan Larimer, Vitalik Buterin and even John McAfee showed interest about the fate of Steem Community and to the emerging HIVE, appreciating the community's commitment to defend against the attack of Sun.
Now everyone is talking about HIVE as an example of democracy in action and that ad's playing for us!

Well, I'm very pleased with the results: a lot of people and a lot of interest in the Hive Blockchain and it's a great achievement after just five days since the launch of HIVE!

6 - HIVE GENERATE ENVY

Needless to say, those that have remained in STEEM are trying to conduct a smear campaign towards HIVE, especially those excluded from the airdrop.

The arbitrary censorship of Sun has befallen anyone talk about HIVE, with the greatest downvotes you'll ever see ($300+); Steemit's Terms of Use have been changed and now prohibit to talk about other platforms.

But what struck me most yesterday (and I'm ironic in saying that) was the case of a company, HIVE Blockchain Technologies Ltd, issuing a cease and desist request to the Hive community.
Basically they "ordered" HIVE to change the name because (and I quote) "many Hive Blockchain shareholders have sought clarification as to whether the company is associated with the hard fork."

Apart from the fact I laughed when I read their press release, I think we can talk about a company looking for publicity by using this moment of notoriety.
If you want to know more, I'll send you to this "useful" (ironic?) article: https://cointelegraph.com/news/canadian-miner-hive-blockchain-issues-cease-and-desist-to-steem-fork-hive

This too is symptomatic of notoriety and everything, I say just everything, is useful of making people talk about HIVE.
The more it is spoken about, the more HIVE get the world's attention. More attention means more investors. More investors means more development for HIVE.

It's win win situation...

I can see a big future in front of HIVE.. You can see it, too?

Thank you very much. I appreciate that!

Sempre molto positivo... 😉

Credevo in STEEM nonostante l'incubo dello stake di Steemit Inc, non posso non essere fiducioso visto che HIVE risolve questo problema! 😉

Wonderfully written with some useful links! Thank you! Hive is really a success and together we can make it even better.

I'm BOI, by the way, (short for bag of income) and I also wrote a post about Hive and what it means to me. I'd appreciate you checking it out:
What Hive Means to BOI?

p.s. sorry for spamming but it's really hard for new users to get exposure.

Thank you and have a beautiful day ahead!

Thanks! I know how you feel, it's hard to get started. But you have to try to be an active member of HIVE community, it will get better than that. 😉

Thank you for your answer! I'm doing my best every single day :) Time will tell if it makes a difference :)
