Privacy and data protection

in #hive • 5 years ago

📊 Many analysts have noted a shift in interests towards privacy in recent years. Research shows a decline in overall customer satisfaction and trust in companies that invade privacy.

Business leaders will have to adapt to changing customer privacy requirements👤 In the near future, it will lead to the creation of an integral system for protecting customers personal information.

👀 Customers are demanding that their privacy is protected and legislators around the world are preparing to meet this demand.

About 60 jurisdictions around the world 🌎 have passed or are about to pass new privacy and data protection laws in 2018, including the United States, Brazil, Australia, India, Japan, and more.

People are actively demanding that their privacy be protected, and lawmakers are responding to this.
Companies will be next in line.

🔜 By the end of 2024, approximately 1 million organizations will have a privacy and data protection officer on staff. Their responsibilities will include: ensuring compliance with data protection legislation and meeting customer needs on this issue.

Nobody knows how the situation will develop. We'll see.
