The News
We just had another #HPUD that looks like it was a good one. Increasing HP limits the supply of $HIVE and helps to spread the voting power. I do tend to save some up as I like the @hivebuzz badges. I think I have a full set plus some of the bonus ones.
$HIVE has been going gradually upwards lately. I hope that can continue, but it is always helped by people being active and talking about Hive.
The big news today was the details of the next @hivefest from @rolandp. This will be in Kuala Lumpur in October. I am not sure if I will make it this time as I have various other trips this year, but it will be great for those around Asia. I can recommend attending as you will have a great time. I have been to four previous events plus the virtual ones.
Something nearer to me is Hive Creator Days in Austria. It looks like lots of people are there and I may look at going to a future one. Any time that Hivers get together cool things will happen.
I was honoured to be asked to be part of a discussion about music on Hive. This was hosted by @buttcoins and @shadowspub with fellow guests @ravenmus1c and @meno. We had a great chat about what Hive can do for musicians. We already have lots here, including some professionals, and I think it has a lot to offer. There is a low barrier to entry and earning so those musicians who struggle to earn elsewhere can create something with their fans. If we want this to grow then we need to support the people who could help it happen.
Friday Follows
As I was talking about music I will feature some other people who I think you should check out.
- @thetroublenotes tour around the world making people dance. I have seen them live and can recommend them.
- @breakoutthecrazy are a great pop duo from New York.
- What is it with Italian drummers? We have @ale.dri and @giampaolo19 sharing their beats on Hive.
- @soundlegion is a longstanding Hiver who has been sharing her music with us.
- @nahupuku is a drummer and educator in Venezuela.
- @alex-rourke runs a studio in Guatemala.
There have been lots more who have not been back to Hive in a while. Perhaps we can reach out to some of them.
The End
There is always far more happening on Hive than I can follow, so I like to see others sharing what they find. Let others know who is worth following as we do not have algorithms to do this.
I shall do a new #BritList over the weekend, but I will be quite busy and so it may be late. I am on Hive for fun and so do not commit to strict schedules.
Hive five!

wow thanks a lot for the mention! really apreciate it! blessings my brother
You are very welcome.
I love your Friday follows! It’s always a pleasure to find new quality accounts!
Cheers. I try to deliver something useful.
I don’t think I’ve ever seen a bad post of yours😁. It’s always enjoyable!
I hope you find plenty more from others to enjoy.
I can definitely say I started feeling at home here on Hive :)! I thought I’ll loose myself in everything but it’s super cool and the content is great here!
Cheers!
Thank you for your support!!! 🙏
You are very welcome. I love that you are here.
Thnak you so much Steev! Much love to you brother.
Here's our beloved weekly @steevc public service announcement 😁
Btw I want to ask you something because you offered to help onboarding new people.
I've tried with a friend some time ago using my referral link through hiveonboard.com
But after choosing the username and getting the keys, an error occured and she couldn't access her new profile, so we had to pass through the InLeo sign-up (and now I remember I did the same at the time).
So what's the best way to actually onboard new people using some kind of referral link? I'd like to be autonomous in doing that
I've not used hiveonboard. I can claim tokens to create loads of accounts, so I do that for people. We need easy onboarding.
I saw that onboarding system once but I don't remember the name... however I know I don't have enough resources to do that. Could you do it for me, claim an account for my friend?
I could. We can discuss on Discord or peakd messages, but will have to wait until tomorrow.
We can talk on Discord. I sent you a friend request
I’m watching the Graz event live on YouTube today and it’s been a lot of fun. Would love to attend one and might be able to this year.
Hive fest will be incredible but doubt I’ll be able to attend. Though not impossible!
I’m trying to do more with the sound library community to turn it into something vibrant and busy.
The sound library could be a great resource. Just have to find ways to make it work and for people to get excited about it.

.This morning I read about the next Hivefest and I think Kuala Lumpur is great for the many users in Asia. I'd really like to be there (and to visit that beautiful city, sure), but my family balance doesn't agree with me. I cross my finger and if I couldn't be there, sure, I'll watch all the photos and all the videos from there. :D
I don't expect to get to every event, but I hope we will meet again somewhere.
Malaysia. They want to get one sorted for the UK 😀😀
Well volunteered sir!
I missed that! Now I see the post... But was after I last checked for news.
It’s quite on a short notice, considering the recommended vaccinations to have before leaving for Malaysia.
It is. I hope they can get a good crowd there. I didn't make it to Bangkok as I try to avoid long flights.
Well, i briefly checked, and the connection from Prague looks very reasonable considering how small the airport is - just about 14 hours with a single stop for about €800. That’s bearable to me.
Super good news on HF indeed! Not sure if october will let me go there, but the idea of going always making the heart warm!
Having the same feeling as you in this one, Hive feels a alive and a lot of cool initiatives are going on at the moment!
I can always find plenty to enjoy here.
Austria sounds like it would be awesome to visit. I hope you get the chance to make it to one of the meet ups.
Well I've been to a few. I want to see you get to one! :)
I for one, share my music on hive, and check out others too! It certainly has a lot to offer.
Musicians like to hear what people think of their work, so we need to actually listen. It's not just about voting.
@steevc, I paid out 11.268 HIVE and 0.000 HBD to reward 23 comments in this discussion thread.
Waooo tienes muchos reconocimiento en hive ...
A different place was chosen for this year's HIVE Fest. Those who will attend to it can have chance to visit the neighbouring countries ;)
Wow, this is very nice and interesting, keep it up sir 🙏🙏🙏
Please can you give me a vote on my post sir

No. That is not how you grow on Hive. I see your comments are very repetitive. You need to engage better if you want people to follow you.
Ok sir, I will do as you say
"Great to see musicians getting support through Hive! Love how inclusive the platform seems—do you think this kind of model could work for other creative fields too?"
Of course it can, but I happen to have an interest in music. People need to support the content they want to see.

The value of the Hive is making leaps and bounds, so that's a good sign. ✅
