This was a very interesting time to be apart of Steemit. You could already smell something was up, that is if you went to the last Steemfest in 2019 in Bangkok. The attendance was down and there was a feeling of people insecure about the blockchain's future.
At this Bangkok event I was approached by some whales to pay me in Steem to travel the world and go to to crypto events and promote the platform. Before this was able to develop into anything of substance I soon learned that I was gifted 5,000 dollars in a new crypto called hive, on new platform called Hive.
I read some blog posts on steemit and learned that I was not alone. Some how they got the crypto world to accept a fork of equal value, including all the wallets on the blockchain. 5,000 dollars just happened to be the value of my steemit wallet at the time, there were other accounts worth millions.
Next thing I know there is a whole drama between the hive people and steemit people and sides were supposed to be chosen, which I never really did in any serious manner. I was always on my side, not a cult follower; which is exactly what the top brass on Hive slowly demanded as time went on.
The price was low, so my quality of travel posts kind of reflected it. I'm just not one to put up major effort for peanuts. Frankly, I've got better things to do. And that was part of my downfall on Hive; but it gets way way more insane than that. To be continued...
Did you know this post got to $1.06 before I spotted it. Sadly that's going to end..., now.
Continue it somewhere else.., you won't get anything here.
It has been a long time since I checked on hive, is this project doing well? Is the community still active, is the adoption still growing? I like the premise of this project, but felt there is big burden the node operators and tokenomics were not very favorable for both content creator and node operators.
Lol, like this is your real account you fucking breast of a man
I don't understand dude, what's your point?
You seem invested in the hive community, I would like your perspective as well!
I find it suspicious when some account pops up out of nowhere and comments on a post by this "World Travel Pro" a person who just about everyone thinks is an absolute wank and a failure.
I think Hive is doing great :O)
