I would like to think Hive supports vegans. I'm not personally a vegan, but I admire most people who stand by their convictions. I definitely like Lotus' and live near quite a few lovely lotus ponds.

That's a great reason to use Hive. A lot of people got caught up in this mess are not malicious users. They are just upset and this is understandable.
I think posting and engaging about topics not related to the airdrop while this mess is being figured out is the best way to prove to the community that you want to participate and have something positive to offer.
I think hive could be a good chance if hive act in this times of virus and quarantine and because of the past to steemit different and with an open heart and mind.
But hive has pressure now because of the past, now Users wanna see a good will and a different to the past or? They wanna have this "mirror account" on the same way like the others have. A kind of showing respect for their work in the past.
Personal I think it even would be smarter to give everyone this mirror (not sun of course he has his platform now) to show hey guys no matter what was you are welcome. This would be a better move and promo. But it's only a thought. Have a great Sunday.
I mean it even more basically. It not fair to copy even a whole account and decide separately who gets token mirror on the wallet and who not. If I would be an invested, I would think, bro, they could take mycoins or token anytime. Because some people had issues at the beginning. A platform has to start clean and neutral to build the ground to grow. So everybody normally earns the same fairness also of this kind of airdrop. Otherwise we had to sign in directly separately to this airdrop and register ourself but this wasn't the style of this airdrop. You know what I mean?
