A bandanna is a brightly-coloured piece of cloth which is worn around a person's neck or head.

The word bandana stems from the Hindi words 'bāndhnū,' or "tie-dyeing," and 'bāndhnā,' "to tie." These stem from Sanskrit roots 'badhnāti,' "he ties," and Sanskrit 'bandhana' (बन्धन), "a bond." In the 18th and 19th centuries bandanas were frequently known as bandannoes.

But now my friend and famous celebrity from the Philippines, Ms Regine Tolentino decided to use the bandana prints for her face masks designs. The very common paisley design in bandannas is now a face mask.

Regine also made use of the colorful special printed fabrics with ethnic designs which were usually made into a dress is now made into a face mask too.

But my favorite is the Rainbow Bandana design. This is very close to my heart because I am a member of the LGBTQ community and we always use the rainbow as our color of unity in diversity. We could now express our advocacies into face masks.

Regine Tolentino's face mask is very affordable and comes in so many other colors & styles. It has a soft wire in the nose and cheek area so it can fit comfortably in the shape of your face. Not to mention the unique designs make wearing a face mask more stylish and fashionable. Now who says that face masks can be boring ?
