CUSTOMERS HNMMM
we actually have different kind of customers who patronize our businesses, some are caring while some are not, some sympathize with you and some Don’t even care or want to know if your current transaction with them is actually profitable or not Which is quite bad and needs to be considered.
MY EXPERIENCE WITH A CUSTOMER;
So there was this customer who wanted a land at a particular area in Lagos, she was given various locations we had and she was able to select a particular one situated in ibeju lekki lagos after then she booked for inspection and our inspection team took her to the location she loved it and subscribed for it she paid for two plots of land we closed the deal. After some days she called our customer care and asked if the other payment could be done now or later and she was told it’s better she make all necessary payments so she could get her documents and also get her allocation done. She also called her account officer to still confirm probably because she didn’t have the money to pay at that time which was not an issue but we had to let her know that there is a clause which will be in her documentation that says; failure to develop your site under or six month max will call for re-Allocation and she was like okay no problem so after some while she made the necessary payment and got her documents but she had an outstanding payment which is the documentation and allocation fee.

After like eight months she came and was like we are scammers she said lot of things which I didn’t let it get to me because we say “customers are always right”.
So she made the payment got her documents and allocation she alsodid her corner piece and left she didn’t come back for over 1 year and some months forgetting the clause that states that if she didn’t develop her site under or six months max she will be re-allocated not necessarily full development though it might just be fencing probably 2-3 coaches. The moment she realized that someone else has taken possession of her plot she started with violence shouting “ I already know you people were scammers from the onset customers is always right we should be your priority, you all lack good customer service” she left and later brought a police officer to arrest the person who she bought the land through which is her account officer the account officer was there for 4 days she arrested on Thursday she couldn’t get bail on Friday she had to stay till Monday.
We later had to sort the issue give her another plot in the same location as it was stated in the clause and everything was fine.
We had to let the sleeping dog lie not because customers are always right as they say but to maintain a good relationship for other future business purposes.
