Puzzle Mania Captured Me - by Sunscape

I caught up with all my chores, projects, and decluttering of different spaces around the house. It is too early to really get started with seeding my veggies except for the scallions, onions, and rosemary. So what is a woman to do with her time, hahaha, "puzzles." Thankfully, I had some foresight when the neighbor had a garage sale and I purchased a few puzzles to save for my winter doldrums. ;-)

The Rooster

The round-rooster puzzle only took me 2 1/2 hours one afternoon, yet I knew that was not going to satisfy me.

Town Festivities

The following day I worked on this puzzle which was only 500 pieces. I only did part of it and saved the rest for the next day. It was a little challenging getting started but did not take me long to finish it.

Colorful Baskets

This market basket puzzle actually gave me headaches while working on it. I had to stop and take a break each day until I finished it. This one was very difficult to do and it did take me three full afternoons to finally get it done. Needless to say, I will keep this one to do for another year as I do like really hard puzzles to work on.

Can you see why this one was a bit challenging? The pieces actually all became like a big blur if I worked on it too long, just saying!

A Girl & Her Dragons

I loved doing this puzzle which was 1,000 pieces. It did take me 4 afternoons to finish it but I did enjoy doing this one a lot. I found the eye of the green dragon right off the bat and he was the first part that came together, the green areas at least. I will also be keeping this one to do again in the future since it too was challenging with all the different hues throughout.

Do any of my hive friends find some quiet time to do puzzles to fill in their spare time? I would love to see the ones that you have done.

I have always loved doing jigsaws. Curious to see a round one, never done one of those before. The girl with the dragons is gorgeous and needs to be framed. 😍

The round one was a little different to do as the pieces rarely lined up like a normal puzzle does. I loved doing the dragons the best of them all. I once framed a winter puzzle with all different snowmen and that was my holiday picture that came out every year.

Loved the rooster one. You were a brave soul to tackle the basket one. I am so far behind I’d not even consider doing puzzles this year.

Maybe when you are totally recovered from that nasty fall you will catch up. The rooster puzzle was fun to do being round and so colorful. I started getting my soil mixes ready to go on my potting table yesterday. I am going to start shallots and onion seeds with rosemary today. Before we know it February will be here and gone and the planting seeds will start anew. Hope you are feeling better today.

Oh! You’re very good at this!! I would never have the patience to go through all the pieces! My eyes would swim like crazy.

Good work and stamina!

Thanks, Kaminchan, I thought doing the puzzles would keep me busy during this winter when there is not much to do. lol Have a wonderful weekend.
