hello friends, now I want to explain the procedure how to raise cattle properly and correctly !!!

How to raise beef cattle - The greater the population growth. This will affect the increasing consumption needs as well. The need for food, especially meat, will also increase. Cattle are one animal that is the mainstay to provide food for meat.

Beef, especially beef cattle is one of the endless effort. Every time the need for meat will refer to the cattle ranchers. From an economic point of view, cattle are very lucky because of a beef cattle will get a lot of results, especially meat, then additional results such as skin, bone, manure and so forth.

Generally the way of raising cattle that is commonly done by the community to gain profit is fattening. Fattening beef cattle is a way of raising adult cows in the first thin to be increased weight, with good feeding and maintenance. Fattening is done in a short time that is 3-5 months.

The main basic principle in running a business is how to raise a cow

How to raise beef cattle ysitu must pay attention to the types of beef cattle and step selection of going.

  1. Types of Beef Cattle.
Several types of cows that are used as a going for fattening beef cattle in Indonesia are:

a. Bali Cow.
Characteristics of cows: red with white on legs from knees down and on the buttocks, black striped back. The advantage of this kind of cow is that it can adapt well to the new environment.

b. Ongole Cow.
Characteristics of cows: white with black in some parts of the body, has a hook and hump and good adaptability. This type of cow has been crossed with Madura cattle. The offspring of this cross is called Ongole Peranakan (PO). The characteristics of PO cattle are similar to Ongole cattle but the ability of PO cattle production is lower than Ongole cattle.

c. Brahman Beef.
Characteristics of cows: brown to almost dark brown, white on the head. The power of brahman cow growth is fast. This, making the brahman cow to be excellent beef cattle in Indonesia.

d. Madurese Cattle.
Characteristics of cattle: Having a hump, yellow to red brick, sometimes there is a white color on the snout, tail and legs down. This type of Madura cattle has a weight gain less good / low.

e. Limousin Cattle.
Characteristics of a cow: Having a black color, there are variations with red brick and white. There is white on the muzzle of the head, the body is large enough and produces high meat.

Feed.

The important thing is also in the way of raising cattle is a feed problem. Feed becomes the main factor in the fattening program. Based on some scientific references from the side of physioloigis and digestive system, cows are classified as ruminant animals. The ruminant animal is a digestive animal through three processes, ie mechanically in the mouth with the help of saliva, fermentatively in the rumen with the aid of rumen microbes and enzymatically after passing through the rumen.

For the success of raising cattle, especially fattening feed problems must be considered. There are two types of cattle feed forage and combination of forage feed with concentrate. Forage feed is the easiest to get and cheap. However, cows that are only in love forage feed is less to provide optimal results in fattening. It will take a relatively long time if the cow is only in love forage only.

One way to accelerate fattening is by providing combination feed that is a combination of forage with kosnentrat. Concentrates include dregs of tofu, bagasse, beer waste, soybean husk, bran, pineapple skin and concentrates made by the feed mill. The trick is that the existing concentrate is given in advance to feed the rumen microbes, so that when the forage feed enters the rumen, the rumen microbes are ready and actively digest forage.
