The post writing supervisor on the job…
Friday morning I was up at 5:45AM and finished editing lots of photos and got 2 posts written and up. I finished the laundry and found out my helper friend was sick and not coming.
I sat down for a while and then got a load of dishes in the dishwasher. And for the life of me, I can’t remember what else I did all morning.
In early afternoon, I napped in my chair as I waited for my surrogate granddaughter to arrive. She’s 9 now. They got here around 2:30PM and we went outside to visit.
Her mom and she had made me a throw with chickens on both sides. It’s very soft and I love it!
She ran around trying to catch the birds on the feeders and playing with stones and a throwing stick she made. Her mom and I had a nice time visiting, catching up on all the news.
We had moved around to the front steps to stay in the sun and I noticed color at the end of the New West garden.
Once I had gotten all the debris off the bulbs a couple days ago, they really started to grow. So I will have nice little crocuses near the end of the walkway.
On Saturday it’s the 2nd seed starting. My #1 intern is coming to help. That will take all morning. It’s to be cloudy but in the 50’s so if I am not too exhausted, I might go out and start on the New South garden as there’s lots of bulbs coming up in there.
Isn't it wonderful having a constant supervisor. Larry is always on the job! I have Mika as my constant supervisor. Your surrogate granddaughter is getting so big. ♥
Larry is working too hard! He needs more running exercises!
Nice to see the crocuses popping up in the garden.
It’s such fun to have lovely visitors and a young kid running around the garden. This gives very good vibes.
flowers coming out already? nice!
Hope you still have time to attend to other activities for the day
I was so image on your pictures ma'am,the followers are so cute. Hoping that we also have that kind of flowers here in Philippines.
